PFF has and always will be trash until they disclose their bs grading system. See if you can find me a highlight of Bryce hitting a receiver in stride down the sideline with more than 25+ air yards.

Call me crazy but with what I have seen through 5 weeks this team would have 3 or 4 wins with league average QB play. His first quarter turnovers have killed us time and time again. I really think we would have beat the Jags and Cards. Idk wtf happened against the Pats. We actually have some talent on offense and I think Dave’s offense with a QB who can push the ball downfield would look completely different. You can tell he wants to run to set up big play action chunk plays and currently can’t.

Into a brick wall? They literally had the box stacked. The play call got two guys open but Bryce couldn’t see them and he panic scrambled. -

Both times he schemed guys open and Bryce couldn’t make the play. How is that Dave’s fault? -

Had Renfrow and XL. Don’t think he could see either over the line. -

How about lead your receiver and hit him in stride for once instead of expecting him to pull up and make an acrobatic catch. Tmac had his man beat. -

I will not tolerate Eric Collins slander. It’s his first call of an NFL game. He’s the goat Hornets commentator. -
Idk I just saw DJ and some other guy were cut.

Cool now call up Hendon Hooker and active Coker so I can watch a somewhat different version of suck on Sunday.

Huge missed holding call -
What’s the point of counting targets if half of the passes aren’t even remotely in the area of being catchable?
-
Found this online earlier. Honestly, how many of these passes would you say should have been caught? https://streamable.com/lhyl3l?src=player-page-share

I mean yes it’s obvious we over drafted the guy but people are acting like he is the worst WR in the history of the NFL. For reference I saw this online and I don’t think Bryce threw him but maybe 1 catchable ball beyond the line of scrimmage. https://streamable.com/lhyl3l

We already have the better version of him on the practice squad.

I agree to an extent. Hell, it was one of the most frustrating things of the Rivera Era. We all saw what happened in the divisional round against Seattle and Rivera at least didn’t replicated it in the conference final against the Cardinals. We never let off the gas that game. Today the Cardinals defense was extra soft and for much longer than I would have expected to see. I think a big reason was because of how many injuries they suffered in their secondary.
-
I am looking at it objectively. Its was already 27-3 by the time the Panthers touched the ball in the second half. Bryce didn’t “settle down”. The entire Cardinals team did allowing Bryce to chip away at a basic prevent defense. Teams rarely even play that soft in the preseason.
-
You used the reason of the two of them being out on the final drive why Bryce struggled. My point was they both were in for the entire first half and Bryce still looked like poo.
-
They both left the game in the 4th quarter

So, just what is it that makes a QB "elite"?
Eazy-E replied to Brooklyn 3.0's topic in Carolina Panthers
Basically the best trait a QB can have is making the players around him better. Everyone is going to have a bad game from time to time. Football is a team sport but the QB position is the most important on the field. If your QB can’t perform what is asked of him and also elevate the guys around him you are going to lose more games than you win. If you have a QB that can do that and also surround him with elite talent then you are more than likely a Suberbowl contender. -
You mean the same ones that were in there for the first 3 quarters?
-
Andy Reid or Sean McVay could be our coach and they’re not winning poo with Bryce under center.
-
It is not trying to explain away. Bryce only played well when the game was out of reach. As soon as there was a chance the Cards could lose the game they put their foot back on the gas and smothered Bryce and that was with multiple defenders out because of injury. Just go compare his stats from the first half and our last drive of the game vs the first 28min of the second half.

how is negative two yards with 8 targets even possible
Eazy-E replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
I’m going to withhold judgment on the entire offense until I see another QB under center.
