It’s hard to say a win total but the team would have definitely been competitive and some of the injuries guys had may not have lingered for as long. Out defense actually kept us in quite a few games last year and with any semblance of competent QB play they would have resulted in victories.

I’d be willing to bet my house that Tepper would have passed on Cam Newton for Locker, Gabbert, or Ponder in 2011.

Canales saying he had to meet with Tepper already after week 1 was all I needed to hear to know that absolutely nothing has changed. Bryce is going to continue to start until Tepper finally admits he was wrong. With his ego that could be quite a while. I’m sure when Tepper offered Canales the job there was a stipulation that Bryce was the QB. The fact they didn’t draft a mid to late round QB after how bad Bryce was is very telling.

I will beat this dead horse until there is nothing left. Drafting a QB Bryce’s size #1 overall is completely inexcusable. There’s been maybe 2 or 3 successful QBs under 6ft in the history of the NFL.

He could have been the greatest college QB ever and I still would have not even considered drafting him in the first round, maybe not even at all. It’s literally a statistical anomaly if a QB of his size ends up being successful in the NFL.

Bryce either needs glasses or legit just can’t see the field in front of him. I thought he was supposed to be some film guru/junkie but he still getting baited into making the same mistakes he made in his first NFL game. It’s over.

Dan spent like 200 million on offense when we have maybe 3 NFL caliber players on defense. He then filled the rest of the defensive roster with practice squad players. Everyone knew the defense was going to be bad but there is literally zero excuse for Bryce. Beefed up interior line. Traded for a proven WR known for being quick and getting open. Drafted a WR, RB, and TE. Bryce looks like he spent all offseason at his parents house in his childhood bedroom playing Minecraft and eating Dino nuggets.

The main issue has been the same since 2018. David Alan Tepper.

Tepper is an ego maniac. He’s going to deflect blame and keep firing people and once, if ever this team is finally successful, he’s going to gloat and take full credit for it.
