  1. I mean, yeah. All this team has done under Tepper is move on from QBs immediately. There was never a chance of Bryce playing poorly and sticking around. I fully expect him to be traded, although unsure if it will be this season or in the offseason.
  2. Eh, it isn't unusual. Most of these athletes, if they aren't with someone they knew from HS or met in college, end up dating the same circle of people. Just how it works. You can include celebrities and musicians in there as well.
  3. Everyone is focusing too much on Sam Darnold. Kevin O'Connell is a very good play caller. I'm not sold on Darnold, but as long as everyone arounds him stays healthy, he should have a decent year with KOC at the helm.
  4. #1 when did Dan Morgan claim this? What WR1s were available for us to acquire and that would have wanted to come here? We traded Donte Jackson and a 6th round pick for him. He's worth that for sure. #2 I agree Diontae isn't a #1, but he's been getting open, Bryce just hasn't hit him. We already know what Diontae is capable of doing.
  5. I wouldn't be surprised if later in the season, Young is an inactive on gameday and Plummer is the #2 QB
  6. I'm pretty concerned that it could flare up again. He's 36 and hasn't played much football lately. We've seen how these minor injuries in training camp can easily spill over into the regular season. Definitely something to keep an eye on and I don't expect Dalton to move around much early on. Will be interesting to see how the Raiders attack us.
  7. Wow, I was so disconnected from training camp that I didn't even realize Andy Dalton had a quad injury. Hopefully it isn't one of those things that spills over into the regular season.
  8. This season? Absolutely unless Dalton gets hurt. Hopefully that doesn't happen, but the injury risk is higher than it would be with a younger QB. Especially someone who can't move around like they used to. That is the only way I see Bryce starting again this year and even then, can't rule out Plummer. You don't bench the QB you traded up for at the No. 1 Overall Pick unless you are certain they suck. Panthers confirmed what they think of Bryce and so it would be very hard for him to start again unless Dalton somehow looked even worse, and even then I think the team might go with Plummer. Next season will be interesting. No way do they go into the season with Bryce as the starter, but I could see him staying as the back-up. Just depends on how lowly they think of him. Either way he is going to affect the cap, so MAYBE it is better to keep him as a back-up?
  9. Bryce lacks that DAWG. I'm ashamed of myself for overlooking that, because usually it is the first thing I look for in a QB. I let my Panthers blinders fail me. Sorry to all. =[
  10. "Bryce remains the starter" - must be a Tepper decision because Tepper loves Bryce "Bryce gets benched" - must be a Tepper decision because reasons I get it, Tepper sucks, but there is so much baseless speculation about his involvement in these decisions. Even these two/three people aren't confirming anything, just saying what they think. The explanation for Canales not announcing the benching post-game on Sunday is because THAT IS NOT WHAT HEAD COACHES DO. They are going to talk to the players first before they make a decision.
  11. I don't think anyone should have expected a HC to announce the benching of their QB in the post-game. They are almost always going to want to inform the QBs in person first.
  12. I might not care as much as I used to, but I will always be a Panthers fan. And you know, I get the frustration, but the best thing I did was immediately accept the team was garbage after the first quarter of Week 1. I have found our beatdowns entertaining and look forward to it. I know that sounds bad, but I'm serious. Just stream Redzone on your computer so you can have good football on and soak in the history you are watching unfold.
  13. I will say in all seriousness, it would be nice to see how Canales is as a play-caller with a QB who can do most of the things an NFL offense needs. More than anything else we need a head coach. Hard to blame Canales for anything that has happened so far, but gonna be hard to figure out where he stands this year.
  14. TANK COMMANDER! This is great news. Everyone is talking about how this is doing the other players dirty, who cares? How many people on this roster should still be on the team in 2025 or 2026? Take us to the promise land Bryce
  15. Wow Bryce is actually the worst QB in NFL history
  16. meanwhile SAM DARNOLD IS COOKING THE 49ERS WE SUCK
  17. Yeah but what difference is Andy Dalton going to make? Maybe we win 2 games? This is just an awful team all around. Obviously Bryce might be the worst of them all, but man I'm tired of seeing this team suck and then luck into some wins at the end of the year.
  18. No. 1 Overall Pick Don't lose sight! TANK COMMANDER GUIDE US
  19. Herbert threw straight to him. I'm more concerned about his coverage skills than his run support. I don't think he sucks but with Derrick Brown out, he's supposed to be our best player on defense.
  20. Right? Crack open a beer or three. Have RedZone in the "background" on my PC. It is a great Sunday. We are witnessing history.
