  1. Question: Are you planning to bring in any new staff on the scouting side of things or is that team remaining in place? If they’re staying, how do you improve moving forward considering the last 3 drafts?
  2. I'm beginning to think Canales may be happening, which I would be excited about.
  3. Still possible we land Tillis in that buffer role. A hope is that Morgan does have a bit of an eye and hires some new people to the scouting department.
  4. Promoted from within from the staff that assembled the worst NFL roster in the 21st century
  5. Would be excited for Canales. He seems like a promising dude
  6. You MAYBE draft a QB late if you like a guy to have as a young backup. But you gotta see what Bryce looks like under a new staff. It is as simple as that. They’ll have year 1 to review, all of the offseason, camp, preseason, and through at least the first 8-10 games to know what they’ve got in him. You're not benching him for a vet early and you’re not getting anyone to compete in 2024. Anyone being realistic should know that’s not happening regardless of how much you disliked what you saw this season. Maybe we draft a guy late who could be a backup and come in if Dalton is indisposed. It’s Bryce in 2024, like it or not. He could be stored away come November, could be a mixed bag we are still unsure about come week 18, or maybe he overcomes it all and looks legit.
  7. Not just 22. Factor in how many draft picks used to draft those 22
  8. We still have unknowns at LT and LG after all the signings and picks we've used on the line. Christensen is still an unknown long term thanks to his injury, Icky is a unknown/needing to recover from a sophomore slump (or be capable of effectively sliding over) and Zavala looked downright bad. Mays has been up and very down. Also think we need center insurance. Bozeman had crap on either side of him, but he was pretty damn bad. He had a great 2022, and was a middle-of-the-pack center in BAL so it's still kind of up in the air if last year was scheme or an abberation. I can't say either with enough certainty. I'd prioritize: 1. 1 multi-year FA signing 2. 1 minimum draft anywhere on the line 3. New heads through the UDFA and 1-year FAs rush to compete with the underperforming backups
  9. I really wanted Kraft last draft. Think he could work out even better long term than the Musgrave family kid in GB. So many interesting TEs last year. I like that Ja'Tavion Sanders (not a ton) in this next draft but it's a pretty iffy class.
  10. Yeah. I think it's time for a full flush. You look at our personnel dept...Cole Spencer, Jared Kirskey, Robert Haines are others that have been here, leading the college front since the 2021 draft. I won't pretend I know their true roles and how much sway they had, but Fitterer often referenced his team and how they became sold on guys during the process. He referenced a lot of team collab--it just needs some good ole' flushing. Jeff Morrow has also been there forever, as respected as he apparently is internally, his voice may be offering some shoddy advice. Team building was just too awful the past three seasons to give a single one of these guys the benefit of the doubt. Adrian Wilson-- league-wide respect and potential, he may be one that's okay to hold onto.
  11. To be more universally considered "great", sure. Eye check pass for me...those two for me are as legit as it comes, especially showing this much, this early. TEs are notorious to take time, and they're exceptions, who are excelling. Last year's TE class proved to be as hyped as they were.
  12. Oh well. The Bills defense was a big letdown this season. They absolutely need a better pass rush (Bralen Trice would be a good fit) and more on offense to be a SB contender. Diggs doesn't seem like the best fit anymore, Kincaid and Cook have been promising (part. Kincaid), but they just need more/it's not enough. Inconsistent on both sides of the ball.
  13. I mean, LaPorta had a historic rookie season. He's a stud.
  14. Great game. Random thought..kind of interesting that remaining team has a great TE on their squad. Kelce, Andrews, Kittle, LaPorta, Kincaid
  15. Sometimes you just need to find the HC. It’s not about some scheme artist who is hot in the moment. Macdonald is a duuuude
  16. I want Macdonald as our coach yesterday but you can’t be serious. Justin Mad, Roquan Smith and Kyle Hamilton ring any bells?!
  17. This game is 100% Lamar and Macdonald ball. please steer clear of Monken
  18. The simulated pressures are being perfectly timed. Macdonald is putting Slowik to rest right now.
  19. The defensive scheming is brilliant today. This is next level.
  20. And then there were 8! On slate today: 4:30 PM Texans at Ravens 8:15 PM Packers at 49ers Sunday: 3:00 Bucs at Lions 6:30 Chiefs at Bills
