Will Levis is officially starting today over Malik Willis. He's a guy that had some fervent support around here (by some who have since take a hiatus). Interested to see how he does.

I would fire Reich at 0-7

I don't know man. If we get to like 0-9, 0-10 with Colts and Bears losses, I think he's done. This game against the Texans is a big one IMO. If we lose, we're really looking at a 2-15/3-14 year. Just wild given the expectations set by the team, coaches, fans, everyone coming into this season. What a ridiculous season so far. -

How do the Panthers move forward in a tanked season

Likewise. Even if Reich isn't working out, we could still have a potential HC on the team. -
Speaking of decimated defense, once we get through the next few games, Jaycee Horn will have played 17 of 43 possible games to start off his career. That's 39% availability in 3 years. Yikes.

Damn are we getting Sanders instead of Hubbard on Sunday? ugh

Happens every year. All is fun in chatting possibilities if you have the realistic expectation. -

And honestly, Sweat was taken not too long after Burns, same draft, and has produced similar numbers. He's also improved drastically in run defense. That's honestly a good comp -- Burns v. Sweat. I remember a lot of peeps did like him in that draft build up. If you can get Sweat for less, I think that's far more appealing than Burns. -

After catching up with the tAFS, one of Sweat or Young could be on the move from WAS. Sweat to JAX is a surfacing rumor pet Nate Tice. Honestly love that fit -
I thought Mingo had a lot to like but the quick eye test for me showed he wasn’t really an extender/hands catcher/aggressive for the ball type but he was an absolute bull when he had the ball. He has good hands but isn’t a finesse guy. And we needed a guy with real quickness. Im still hopeful bc maybe he can become a Metcalf lite but a problem is it’s another class with a bunch of effective WRs out of the gate and we couldn’t spot the one for us. Take Addison, S-N, and Flowers out of the equation, we still had Mims (LOVE), Rice, Downs, Dell, Scott, etc. Just really surprised we went the way we did. Could’ve traded back or taken Tuli or Brents at 39 then snagged Down or Dell later on. Kinda peeves me

How do the Panthers move forward in a tanked season

He's been under good minds in Buffalo and he may have a better grasp on talent right now. Hard to place myself in the internal workings though. I mean, if you're in Tepper's shoes and he doesn't seem ideal, then probably not but it would have to be someone. GMs and scouting departments are doing a lot this time of year outside of just trade deadline work. I honestly wonder if purging our entire scouting department could be in the cards. I mean, the last few drafts have produced so little. Posted elsewhere, but We spent 5 picks last year on 3 guys already off the team (Corral, Smith, & Barnes). We're not knocking out our 1st round picks anymore and our remaining draft hit rates are awful. -

In this type of circumstance, you have be honest with where the team's at if you're Tepper (which is obviously not happening) I would quietly put Morgan in a position to make an honest assessment of the talent we have from now until season's end. Who is worth retaining into a new core that we can restructure from. Fitt has disappeared from Panthers marketing material everywhere so I think the writing is on the wall he will be the first casualty. And if Sunday is a Texans loss coming off a bye, then I think a Steichen/Minshew loss & going to 0-9 will get Reich fired. It's super rare, but I think it would be absolutely warranted if we can't muster any wins in this stretch. That would give Evero or Brown the opportunity to start off as interim against Chicago. Strange times. -
Both Sam Darnold and P.J. Walker starting this Sunday.

Re:Browns/PJ—Watson is a loser and his whole on and off injury with him dictating when he’s 100% is not sitting well with most. At least we avoided that mistake. -

I'd waiver that his media absence is indicative of the temperature on his seat. It's honestly only a matter of time for him unless we somehow rally to like 6 or 7 wins this year. -
Since this is in the lounge now... The infrastructure in this country is one of the most regrettable things about it all. Not that we are the only place on earth, Aussieland, Canada, plenty others can be just as bad in parts. For being only a few hundred years old, it's ridiculous what we've managed to do such a huge swath of the planet. Superhighways, stroads (a planning term), dilapidated shopping centers, strip malls, it's just ugly as hell. This could be anywhere and is everywhere-- It's depressing to me.

Yeah I could have seen them as a suitor. Byard was a Titan lifer so will be interesting to see him in Philly. Was a big reason for them exceeding expectations in the Vrabel era. Strong leader. -

I'm fairly certain we interviewed McD and was reported he was one of the finalists back then. Point taken on the perception -- but do remember him being largely the scapegoat and people still thought very highly of him.
