  1. Only way I'd bring in Hartline is if we get rid of Cotchery and Bersin.
  2. Works out for teams like ours though where our 2nd best wr is jerricho fuging cotchery. Thats why I wouldn't mind a guy like Hartline cheap and he's 10x better than what we have.
  3. Lol he is by no means a burner but a 4.58 40 is not slow in the slightest. He is also more quick than he is fast he is not a true #1 wr that is why he does not continuosly get 1k yard seasons but he is a solid #2-3 and is an instant upgrade over every wr we have now outside of KB. He also isn't going to command over 2-3 mill a year in salary I wouldn't think especially with how flooded the market is. Bottom line is I'm not saying Hartline is the best option out there all I'm saying is he is a solid option to consider because he's relatively young, has decent speed, has had recent success, is an upgrade over what we have, and won't command a huge salary or prevent us from picking up another wr or two. I don't know how you could dislike it if we did sign him.
  4. http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/brian-hartline?id=81831 Hartline did
  5. Hartline is worlds better than Cotchery he also ran a 4.58
  6. Yes actually he is. He is definitely one of the fastest white Wrs in the NFL
  7. I think it's very possible we could sign Hartline and I'd be thrilled. He has reliable hands and can get good separation I'll be shocked if Gettles doesn't at least inquire about him. Canty is on the down side of his career and has played mostly in 3-4s lately but he has also played in 4-3s earlier in his career we may not go after him but as a veteran coming off the bench he is not a bad option.
  8. Exactly. I still think Hartline can be productive enough for us and Canty is someone whom I've wanted.since before we drafted Star. Both of them fall into the area of FAs we'll be looking at.
  9. Hartline is only 28 and would easily be our 2nd best Wr. I know the market is flooded with veteran wrs but I really like Hartline. He's a lot faster than people give him credit for and he can consistently get separation from DBs. He would definitely be an upgrade over Cotch and Philly plus we won't have to break the bank for him.
  10. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000474584/article/ravens-terminate-contract-of-de-chris-canty Chris Canty could be a solid part of our rotation, but he may end up retiring Hartline will also be released after back to back 1000 yard seasons in 2012 and 2013 but he only had 400 yards last season. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000474565/article/miami-dolphins-cut-wide-receiver-brian-hartline I wouldn't mind either signing and I'd think both would be good depth and relatively cheap. Thoughts?
  11. If he chooses Cleveland over us he's a fugging idiot. Dude must not want to play WR very badly.
  12. I dont believe Mike Wallace is a player DG would go after in FA let alone giving up draft picks for him, pass.
  13. As long as others are brought in to compete I wouldn't mind the signing.
  14. Yea that is some bullsh*t he didn't give Tolbert any credit for going
  15. Crazy that Hardy was the only one of the Panthers organization to show up at the funeral. I would have at least thought Stewart would have been there they both seemed like they were genuine friends. Maybe they just weren't as close as they appeared to be on the sidelines kind of a crazy situation. But to answer the question No I don't. I do believe he has the right to be upset. His mother is the reason every single sport dons pink in October not to mention when you're on a football team I don't care if it's high school, college, semi pro, or the NFL the guys in those locker rooms are supposed to be your brothers. I guess money just seems to change everything doesn't it?
  16. It's never a good idea to bring stuff like this back up whether it's true or not. If DeAngelo truly had a problem with it he should have dealt with it before he was released and kept it in house.
  17. The Girth is really running away this one
  18. Sorry if this is too soon but does anyone know how much we save with this move?
  19. Farewell DeAngelo best of luck to you and your family.
  20. I think all of them are good choices. You all get a vote from me. As for the other thing well I'd have to go with Girth.
