  1. I mean you technically have to count his rookie year but in all honesty last year was more like year 2 for Young. His rookie year was such a sh*t show. None of his WRs from that year are in the NFL. Worst OG performances in NFL History and the coach got fired 11 games in. That's about as bad a scenario can get for a rookie QB Josh Allen also had some serious doubters his first couple seasons. He only threw for 3,089 yards his 2nd season before making the jump. Young has to continue to improve and now that he's in the same system for a 3rd consecutive year he may keep showing improvement. And if he doesn't we should he in prime position to snag a top prospect next year
  2. Yea it's definitely mind boggling we've made it through 4 rounds of the draft and initial rounds of FA and Nick Scott is STILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL our projected starter at FS. Don't see a world where that should be considered acceptable and seems very negligent by the FO and Defensive coaching staff. I'd be screaming for an upgrade
  3. Kind of an exaggerated take, no? I think Bryce definitely needs to take another step forward but let's not act like all of those players are playing up to their potential including Bryce. XL is still probably a bad WR no matter the team and Ickey was an average to below average pass blocking OT before his injury. Still a solid player but I don't believe he was top 10 at his position last year.
  4. FS, LB, DL, OT, WR, CB Those in that order. I honestly just pray we get a good player
  5. Someone showed up wearing Saints gear. Needs to be cut ASAP!!! Cam would have never allowed that type of sh*t
  6. So Bryce has been in the league 3 years. I wouldn't even count his rookie year with the horrible weapons and coaching staff he was surrounded with. Year 2 there was growth after the benching. Year 3 he was able to build off that and play a lot more consistent and eliminated a lot of the back breaking plays he made in his first 2 seasons. He has progressed. Is it as fast as everyone would have liked it to be? Of course not but he has absolutely not regressed. He needs to take another step forward this year but let's not act like he hasn't improved from year 1 to year 2 to year 3 because he absolutely has.
  7. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Why can this team never find a good FS? I feel like it is always our worst position
  8. We need LT/C, FS, LB, TE I dont know if I can handle another season of Nick Scott at FS even though he seemed to play a little better down the stretch
  9. He's rated fairly high but man that's a lot of money for a guy who has never reached double digit sacks and an injury history
  10. The only problem now is that next year...going to be VERY hard to make the playoffs again. We play a lot of really good teams
  11. I mean to be fair...didn't we lead the league in having the most oline combinations on the year? After all that's where all of our $$ is tied up and if that part of your team is in that much of disarray it'd be awful hard to live up to its full potential. Not trying to make excuses, just saying.
  12. Bryce will definitely be here next year and possibly the year after unless he does some Deshaun "Diddy" Watson type of stuff. I think #1 priority is getting some true competition for Bryce. And not some random 6th round draft pick or UDFA. Some sort of meaningful draft pick or FA candidate. That has to happen this offseason.
  13. Ah my mistake had it sorted by the wrong filter. It lists 9 flags. It isn't good but there are some guys around his caliber that also have a lot of penalties this season. I just think that Horn has had a few back breakers in there which makes it seem a lot worse than it truly is
  14. Pat Surtain also has 9 penalties Defensive Pass Interference (5), Illegal Contact (2), Defensive Offside (1), Defensive Holding (1) for 109 yards Jaycee Horn has 9 penalties but according to that link it only says 7 for 49 yards but they list 9? Defensive Pass Interference (4), Defensive Holding (3), Illegal Use of Hands (1), Face Mask (1) Not all that bad when compared to some of his peers although the timing of his penalties have been about as bad as they could have been.
  15. I'll admit winning the division with a 9-8 record isn't the greatest feeling in the world but its worlds better than another 5 win season. We are actually watching meaningful football during the last week of the season. That's all you could have asked for as a fan at the beginning of the year. And if this nucleus of players and coaches are going to turn the corner together then winning and getting this experience is crucial.
  16. Not sure how Christensen is going to rebound. If this team learned anything this year it's that Oline depth is a premium. Ickey needs to be locked up long term. Wouldn't mind Yosh coming off the bench for another year then sliding him in at RT once T mo is released or retires
  17. Yea i mean even the best corners get beat from time to time. Jaycee when healthy has never been able to play with a good pass rush. That's gotta be one of the top priorities next year
  18. It hasn't always been pretty but it definitely feels good to be able to watch meaningful Panthers games in December. Merry Xmas yall and let's beat the Taints!!!!!
  19. He's been pretty much what he's been since he entered the NFL. They overpaid him to play out of position essentially. He has still matched around his average production from previous years but you don't pay FAs to come in and be better than what they've shown. Definitely overpaid but it is what it is hopefully he can make some plays down the stretch and we'll all feel a little better about it
  20. Living in Indiana I would love to beat the Bears, but with the way this team has performed the last several years I'd just be glad to be there man.
  21. I'm happy we're winning games and Bryce has contributed in some of them and hopefully is not going to be an all-time bust for us. Every young QB is different. Some hit the ground running, some look like poo and improve later or in different scenarios and some guys never get it. I think we're at the point where we don't need to do anything drastic at the QB spot like we did to get Young in the first place. I think we DEFINITELY need to do what others have mentioned. Sign a QB that can play in case Young has another episode of trash football player and draft a Young guy (no pun) on day 2 or 3 to sit and learn or play later on if we implode with Young. We have to have a real life contingency plan next season. That can't be ignored again.
  22. Yea that was probably one of my favorite moments from yesterday. Williams wanted no part of Ransom after that. Sent his ass to the sidelines lol
  23. From week to week you never know what you're going to get with this team but you can't argue they've put together some damn good performances this year. We aren't close to perfect but we definitely will be making teams think twice before playing us
  24. Putting their best pass rusher on our most inexperienced olineman. Thats rough.
