What a silly take.

Public speaking class was great for removing ummm as a conversational crutch for a lot of kids.

I don’t understand why somebody felt the need to start bringing politics into this post. Save that poo for the Tinderbox.

Where does this article say this is a bigger gap between NDSU and the other schools they play?
-
We aren’t in any rush to do so. It’ll happen though.
-
If you are going to quote me, quote me properly and don’t make up things for me to say. That’s trash tier posting. You’re above that. NDSU has a bigger advantage then them. They’ve been the national champ year in and year out even more than Bama. And your argument was absolutely silly, as others have pointed out as well. And yes, Justin Fields absolutely played against the toughest competition out of any of these QBs. You don’t have to like reading it for it to be true.
-
This is a stupid argument. You don’t punish Justin Herbert because he went to a school full of QB busts. Do I assume Lance is likely to be a franchise killer like Wentz turned out or a NFL backup for a few years like Stick? Cam won an MVP and went to a super bowl but Florida and Auburn have produced trash at QB outside of him. A schools “track record” is an ultra lazy way of poorly evaluating a prospect. It’s basically acknowledging you are making things up now.

Huddle Freakout Draft Scenario--WR, QB or elsewhere?
Varking replied to saX man's topic in Carolina Panthers
You pick Fields or Lance. -
Take Fields off of OSU and replace him with Lance and OSU likely doesn’t have a football season this past year. Fields was the face of that. Put Fields on NDSU and they might actually let the QB throw the ball.
-
Ahh just throw away the rankings and ignore the stats. Let me show you recruiting rankings where surprisingly most 4 and 5 star recruits don’t play like 4 and 5 star recruits lol
-
I’m not personally pitching us to trade up and get him.
-
To be fair, Teddy had no problem getting us to the red zone all year with no offensive line. The issue was in the red zone none of our guys were true difference makes in the red zone. CMC helps with that. Pitts would put it over the top. Last season with no line we went two games with CMC and he got 4 rushing touchdowns. 6 yards 3 yards 7 yards 1 yard They were all red zone runs. He can make it work with the line we have. The thing we were missing was a red zone pass catcher.
-
It’s where those targets are had that really makes the impact. He’s the red zone weapon we are missing.

Fields faces the best defenses amongst this group of draft eligible QBs…
-
There’s plenty of every position in the draft. If you think he’s the best of what’s available you don’t hesitate to take him. He’s a stud.

Lawrence Fields Wilson Sewell Lance Pitts Chase Slater

You have them in the correct order in the poll: Sewell then Pitts then Surtain. Id be happy with Sewell or Pitts.

DJ Moore: Only current WR with consecutive 1100+ yard seasons?
Varking replied to Stumpy's topic in Carolina Panthers
^ Can’t believe this dude doesn’t want to bring up QB play into the picture but doesn’t seem to remember DJ Moore being wide open in the end zone running to the left and Teddy B outright missing him to the point DJ had to jump and spin to try and catch a TD pass from 4 yards away and got hurt. When speaking of WRs you should absolutely also consider who the QB is. As far as Moore being labeled great anywhere else… sure the Huddle is the only place you will find those references if this is the only place you come to. People on Twitter, Facebook, Reddit also talk about him being great and being held back by awful QB play. There is no way you live in this much of a bubble that you believe what you just wrote. -
Less film on him and people have been touting Fields for 3 years as an NFL prospect. One good season in the last 7 years for Lance. One good season in three years for Wilson. One amazing season and two DUIs while at Alabama for Mac Jones and people want to tell me he has it above the shoulders and football is important to him but we question if Fields has it above the shoulders and if he wants to be great? It’s legit prospect fatigue.

What are the numbers that will make you believe??
Varking replied to WOW!!'s topic in Carolina Panthers
I’m going to need to see 25+ TDs and less than 12 INTs. -
DJ Moore: Only current WR with consecutive 1100+ yard seasons?
Varking replied to Stumpy's topic in Carolina Panthers
I said he’s borderline elite. I won’t declare a receiver elite while still on a rookie contract. -

It’s one of the reasons I’m hoping he and Darnold get to work on chemistry now. If he repeats his numbers from years past with a third new QB in 3 years or if his numbers drop closer to 1k but he gets around 7-8 TDs with Sam I’d say we know who he is as a pro and would have a better gauge on his true value. Id really just like to see what DJ can do with a true franchise QB. -

Did you not call a top ten receiver on a rookie deal overrated? You assume you know what he will ask for and what he will get for his next contract. As of right now he’s an absolute steal on a rookie deal and without him Robbie wouldn’t be getting covered by a number 2 corner and Curtis wouldn’t have been covered by a #3 most of the year. And I do believe their efficiency stats would suffer without DJ out there battling the other teams too guys on most plays. Now, over the last two years, these other guys you are putting over DJ, how many of them have a lesser QB situation that DJ Moore catching the majority of his passes from Kyle Allen and Teddy B?
