I agree the best thing would be for panthers to trade him for anything and move on. He is terrible with no hope. Tepper is terrible also but if he had chosen stroud instead the panthers are were rhe texans are now. So as bleak as it looks the panthers are only a great qb away from being competitive. With that said young on the roster does nothing at all he is not the future its obvious.

Will know more about this roster after next few weeks. B young is so bad every player on the offense could be all pro and he would still bring them down. Players cant throw to themselves and an oline can only hold a block for so long.

Dalton will play alot better sad part is panthers will not have number 1 pic and bears will not have 33rd pic

The biggest stat I see people quote on young from college is his horrific downfield accuracy in college like 20or 30% for anything over 20 yards I cant remember exact stat but that is one I believe pretty much sums up his nfl career combined with terrible arm strength not so much his size to me just that even on his quick passes the ball gets there slow allowing defenders time to tackle quickly. He just is not an nfl qb and it is amazing nfl evaluators had him as a number one overall pick but at this point nothing to do but hope the panthers draft better this year.

I think cj easily adds 14 more points to the panthers per game last season its an entirely different situation if so.

Trade him to 49ers or chiefs give him a chance at a superbowl would hate to see him leave but this ship needs to be abandoned

Youngs stats last year were bad but this year they are horrific. Not sure the defense is worse as much as rhe offense just putting them in terrible spots on the field nonsrop they had several good srops and take aways today.

He was able to get so much more out of young we all thought he was bad but turns out he was amazing to get anything out of him and win a few

At least the bears moved on from fields a good gauge of what the nfl thought of him is how few teams actually wanted him. i wonder a year into b youngs nfl career what if anything the panthers could trade him for. If its approaching the trade deadline and he shows what he has shown would ownership realize this and trade him for a 3rd or 4th to get at least something back?

As the Texans showed with stroud every team is one good great qb away from the playoffs or in the panthers case one terrible qb away from looking worse than they really are

Justin fields has been terrible even with good talent around him. Kyle allen and Tyler heineki have played better.

I believe Bryce came out and said the 4 sacks from the cb blitz were on him its his job to recognize it and shift protection or get rid of the ball to the guy left open from the blitzing corner.

When the QB is no threat at all it makes it alot easier to stop the run. Other teams may actually prefer young to pass so they have a better chance of an int or fumble. He is at Jimmy C level of bad back when we would take the qb out and just run the wishbone b/c running non stop was a better play then having the qb on the field. Young has brought everyone around him down. The oline looks worse when the qb takes forever to throw the ball, wrs cant catch inaccurate or not thrown passes. Defense is always in terrible spots or on the field too long. Coaches all look horrible b/c not many plays in the playbook for qbs who cannot throw or run well. Crazy looking back I would rather Darnald, Mayfield, any qb drafted Kyle allen , taylor heineki, cam off the couch, its just hard to watch the panthers offense right now.

Hard to judge anyone when the QB played that badly. Saints had no fear of the pass at all. It has to be hard for the players when the qb is that bad.

Thats the thing with young he doesnt even have the physical traits to succeed in the nfl even if he started making the correct decisions and started processing the game quicker. At least with levis who also had a bad game yesterday you can see he has the ability to make nfl throws

He did have a historically bad qb to work with will never really know how bad all the coaches were or if young just killed them all.

This game has to be hard for the young defenders even the ones with complete alabama blinders

A thielen was solid like always. Byoung just was so bad missed so many openings and slow to read react to anything

Out of all the qbs we could have had instead of young levis didnt look much better the rest did though
