  1. Taking advantage of the government. Tepper made his largest chunk, $7 billion, buying bank debt for Pennies on the dollar after the crash, prior to the bailout, then lobbied the government for the bailout and got it. Paid in full. He’s not a good business man, he cares way too much about people liking him. The irony is everyone hates him.
  2. Everything about Young we were sold turned out to be fake. He’s not 200 pounds, as evident by the many reports of him faking weight for the weigh in. He’s not 5’10, I've stood next to him, he’s about 5’8 with a bunch of hair. He wouldn’t allow himself to be pictured with the other QBs during the process. He’s not some elite processor of information, he had been practicing the S2 for years. He’s horrible at pressers, go watch a Will Levis or Brock Purdy presser. He’s not some phenomenal charismatic leader, and he definitely wasn’t NFL ready. Fire the entire scouting department. There’s a teenage kid on X named “Matt” he was obsessed with Bryce, posted about Bryce 100 times a day after the draft. Many undersized kids looked up to Bryce, or the image that his parents made of him, and said to themselves if he can do it in the NFL I can do anything. Matt posted he is contemplating suicide. These kids hopes are crushed bc of Tepper’s decision. Bryce’s parents had to know he wasn’t NFL ready, he wasnt the things the media was making him out to be. As I’m listening to Bryce speak at these pressers it is becoming clear he’s just a shy scared kid stuck in this situation, this is all his parents and his agency. His parents and the agency made millions for themselves. Im starting to feel really bad for him.
  3. I count 6 defensive assets with some trade value; Woods, Brown, Burns, Horn, Chinn, Bell.
  4. LuVu is as good as gone, he’s been counting down his days. He’s been having conversations with opposing coaches after games and everyone around the league loves him and will pay. There’s no path to address even half our needs. We have $35 million in effective cap space, 1 year of Tee Higgins for example, and no 1st round pick. We’re screwed. We’re probably entering Cardinals territory where we just tear it all down with visions of being competitive 4+ years down the line.
  5. Mike Kaye, who championed all of Tepper’s horrible moves btw, wrote an article today about how we need to trade defensive assets to help Bryce on offense. So maybe we’ll need DL, Edge, CB, etc too. Who knows how Tepper will go about destroying the team next.
  6. The games aren’t the same as they were under Richardson. Even when we were playing OK. Not as many families, less people wearing Panthers gear, more fans of the other team. We had really built something special 10 years ago, Tepper destroyed it. Now we have the worst team in the league by far, no #1 pick, not as much cap space to work with, no coach, stuck with a small QB the other teams clown, literally no hope. This is rock bottom.
  7. I literally still believe in the product. A. Who knows if the leaked scores are real, the owner said they weren’t and as we know the media was eager to pump Bryce. B. I think having necessary size is a precursor to the test even being relevant, there’s no way to make 5’8 180 work. Levis and Purdy scored super high and they’re doing well.
  8. I’m reading between the lines here it sure sounds like Brown and Tabor, the hires made independent of Frank, were all texting Tepper behind Franks back discussing issues with the team. But then after Frank and the coaches he brought over were fired the team got worse. Tepper should have said stop coming to me go to Frank.
  9. Now if this is how coaches view the position imagine what free agent players think. Is any player with options coming here without us having to overpay? Why would you?
  10. Hard to put Richardson above anyone given that hes taken 100 snaps and got injured 3 times, including the Cam throwing shoulder injury/surgery(for the 2nd time). He’ll have to change his throwing motion based on how it heals, career absolutely in jeopardy.
  11. If I were a team at the top of the 2024 draft, and I was contemplating Williams, Bryce struggles and Levis/Stroud success would concern me. The undersized out of structure decorated playmaker has a much higher bust rate than the 6’3+ pro-style pocket passer. Out a gun to my head and ask me who works out between Williams and Maye and I’m taking Maye every time.
  12. I looked it up they got ThrockMorton at Right Guard, 3rd string Right Tackle first year ever starting, a 3rd string 6th round rookie at Left Tackle, a rookie Left Guard, and a UDFA 6’1 270 pound center playing the position for his first time. It can be worse than our putrid line, and the QB can still produce.
  13. After watching the game back I’m no longer buying any of the line excuses, if you want to say the playmakers suck fine, but the line was serviceable outside of a few plays. NGS backs me up they have the Patriots, Giants, Titans, Seahawks all with worse lines. Last night I saw Levis or Devito look good despite tons of pressure(both lines allowing 50+% pressure) Bryce wouldn’t be able to make some of the throws Levis made. I saw him stand in the pocket and complete a hole shot 35 yards downfield while getting crushed by a defender. That takes top notch arm strength and toughness.
  14. I don’t expect anyone to say anything bc of buyout NDAs but my guess would be that Dan, Scott, Samir all internally point the finger at Tepper. Tepper wanted Bryce, Tepper wanted a 4th round receiver for him in the 2nd bc Steve Smith liked him, Tepper decided to trade away our 2 best offensive players. It’s all Tepper would be their argument.
  15. We’d be leading the division if we just kept CMC, DJ, and drafted Levis at 9.
  16. They would still give the award to other players. The team, media and league coddle him as if he’s a child who needs to be protected. Bryce’s start is worse than Zach Wilson’s in 2021, remember the things said about Zach Wilson by week 14 of his rookie year?
  17. It’s both that he’s unsettled in the pocket and he can’t see over the line when they get pushed back. He has an incredibly unconventional throwing motion, even dating back to his days at Bama, where he slowly drops back with his shoulders/hips parallel to the line only to flip his hips and get into a throwing motion just before he throws the ball. This won’t work in the NFL where you don’t have the time to pull off the hip flip, you need to be in a throwing posture from the moment you receive the ball. It also throws off the timing of the play, that’s why he’s late on everything. The reason he does this is bc he wants to be able to see the rush on both sides from his peripheral vision, he’s afraid to get hit from his blind side. This is also why we haven’t seen him take a gruesome blindside hits. But that’s part of the NFL game, you have to turn your back if you want to make NFL throws. No one has corrected him on it bc they probably know he’s not comfortable any other way.
  18. Conversely he was drafted by a team with a top 10 defense and a bunch of mid market vets on offense. He’s since had the worst EPA of any starting QB in the last 10 years. These teams we’re losing to are all bad and banged up, sure our team sucked but the opp has been just as bad. That Saints, Bucs, and Titans secondaries we’re mostly practice squad guys they just called up. And he still can’t get it done. We’re a crappy organization bc we make boneheaded moves like trading away everything for the smallest QB in modern NFL history.
  19. Bryce and his agency played Tepper like a fool and he’s just now realizing it. Everything about Young was fake. He added so much fake weight for the combine that he had to run to the bathroom and throw up after his weigh in, he had so much hairspray in that he measured 5’10 and not his true 5’8, chose not to throw, run or even be pictured with the other top QBs. He’s not the super mature elite processor like his agency portrayed. He was a lemon that most teams probably never considered. Just a whole bunch of lies that Tepper was sold. Tepper as a small human himself took a liking to him and it cost us everything. He needs to sell.
  20. Why was he even hired? He didn’t know Frank’s crew and his resume is not that of a NFL play caller. No wonder Frank was hesitant to give up play calling. Multiple times now 3rd/4th and short and he passes with the game on the line despite our passing attack not working. It’s like he’s going above and beyond to out the game in Bryce’s hands. He’s probably afraid of not doing it after what happened in Chicago.
  21. Frank has a large loyal following of CLT area Christians, he used to preach with the Graham family. Same crowd stopped coming to games in recent years, and I’m sure he was hired in part to get them back out to the stadium. That failed miserably and now that crowd is probably never returning. Tepper is an arsonist.
  22. He’s been our best defensive player and he’s long gone. I was at the Titans game, after the game I noticed LuVu having an extended serious conversation with Vrabel. Titans have $100 million in cap space next year. Teams hold him in a higher regard than our fans do.
  23. BINGO! I thought it was interesting that Russini leaked that “a number of coaches wanted him benched” but didn’t elaborate on who wanted him benched. I’m betting it was the coaches who were fired.
  24. Before we demote one of the best run blocking LTs in the league, who we used a top 10 pick on, you better be damn sure he’s not struggling in pass pro bc the QB is messing up the protection with his inconsistent drop backs, protection calls at the line, etc. Why did he look so much better with Andy and Sam? His confidence is SHOT you can tell at these pressers, Its not just the Ums, it’s that he mumbles with his head down not making eye contact, not speaking clearly. There’s no chance his teammates have any confidence in him.
  25. They gave up the 30th picks. We gave up #1 in the best draft in decades.
