  1. I'm just saying we had opportunities to find out. Christensen should've gotten a lot more time at LT. Brown should've gotten an opportunity to play RG. If the vets are trash you might as well get a look at your rookies, especially once you're mathematically eliminated. We blew a golden opportunity to do just that in a risk free environment. Especially since the QB of the future wasn't even on the roster and the star RB was already on IR.
  2. We're actually watching the live action play reality show that will later be condensed and released as "Dumber and Dumbest: Harry and Lloyd Run the Carolina Panthers".
  3. I wish I knew about Brown. If only we had played him at some point last year instead of proven trash vets.
  4. Literally all of them. He has been reported to have a trade coming imminently many times. I'm starting to understand what you "buy". Anything that leads to what you want
  5. It's been reported approximately 1357 times that he was going to be traded imminently. I would think folks would've learned to have maybe learned not to take reports on this situation as gospel by now.
  6. It's not about what they would love, like, or hate. It's about Watson having the legal ability in his contract to force what he wants.
  7. These hometown draws are often mentioned but rarely seem to actually play out.
  8. If Watson says yes to Seattle and no to Carolina then the Texans don't have much of an option. There only leverage here is refusing to trade him at all and continuing to pay him to sit at home.
  9. I wouldn't live in Seattle for hardly anything. But, poll young rich folks and Seattle is going to come out ahead of Charlotte by a wide margin. That's just reality.
  10. Me too. I think holding onto Burns is a pipedream though. If Watson is a Panther I'll be shocked if Burns isn't a Texan. As blatantly desperate as Tepper is to get this done, I wouldn't be surprised if the Texans fleece us out of Chinn too.
  11. We'll have a D that has lost two of it's top three CBs and both of it's starting edge rushers (Houston would demand Burns). We'd also probably be short another key young starters, possibly Chinn. After spending the last couple of years building the D we'd be right back to the bottom of the league on D again.
  12. With no clarification. That could mean he's willing to waive it period. It could also mean that he simply won't block the move if it's the only option on the table. If there are two competing offers, Watson has the ability to choose his fate, that's all I'm saying.
  13. Rhule will likely be gone either way. He's over his head and Tepper is probably quietly swallowing that bitter pill.
  14. It amazes me that so many people seem to think this would be a good idea.
  15. It doesn't matter what players Seattle does or doesn't have to offer. At the end of the day, Watson has a ton of control over his situation via the no trade clause. If Seattle and Carolina both have offers on the table and Carolina's is better but Watson says he'll only waive his no trade clause for Seattle then it doesn't matter that Carolina's offer wa better.
  16. We're gonna trade everything for Watson then watch complaining for years about how Watson has no help.
  17. I'd like to add an addendum to the new historical marker outside of Cameron Indoor Stadium. That addendum being: "Also noteworthy is that many college basketball fans know this place as 'Hansbrough Indoor Stadium' after 2008 Naismith Player of the Year and 2009 National Champion Tyler Hansbrough went 4-0 here during his legendary college career."
  18. With the new stipulations the NFL is putting in place it's going to be difficult for any ownership groups to get approved. If you aren't an individual many times multi-billionaire you probably need not apply. You basically have to be able to come to the table cash in hand.
  19. Oh, it's gonna be a meltdown either way. If we trade the entire organization for him... meltdown. If he forces himself somewhere else... meltdown. The only thing I can guarantee coming out of this situation is a huddle meltdown.
  20. Damn. The ACC was a straight up joke this year in both football and basketball. Just yikes. Won't shock me if there's not a single ACC team in the sweet 16.
  21. Yeah, I don't think that's the BEST case scenario but you do you.
  22. I think people are forgetting he has two past torn ACLs too - one in college, one in the NFL.
