  1. @Ja Rhule I already broke this down for you.
  2. Are you illiterate? Read that again. It does not say what you think it does.
  3. Then that's what you wanted to see because that's not what that said.
  4. That's not at all what that says. Spreads FROM vaccinated people as readily, not TO. Breakthrough cases are still uncommon and the vaccines are proving to do a great job of preventing serious illness in those breakthrough cases. All they're saying is that the individuals with breakthrough cases are just as contagious as the unvaccinated. Meanwhile, the percentage of COVID patients in hospitals that are unvaccinated are very near the 100% mark. That's a far cry from "useless".
  5. So... basically the same way he was treated in Charlotte last year? When Teddy is your QB, you've waved the white flag. It's time to talk draft. I hated the trade for Darnold too, but at least he does have the physical talent. We'll see if he can put it together between the ears but at least there is some reasonable path to success with Darnold. I simply did not see one at all with Teddy.
  6. Honestly, it seemed to me that DJ ran kind of a lazy route there. Didn't seem to be going full speed. The pass was a touch high, but if he was going full speed it wouldn't have been too far out in front. You don't want those slants thrown high though. That's a recipe for INTs and/or getting your receiver lit up.
  7. That likely went out the window the moment Marshall's name was called.
  8. 100% agreed. I really wanted him in the draft and early returns looked great.
  9. Crazy how well the NFL has marketed it's draft versus all the other pro leagues. I honestly had no clue the NBA draft was being held today.
  10. I absolutely think he has the talent. I just hope he can put his past injury issues behind him. His injury history was probably the primary reason he was available where we picked him.
  11. Waste of talent. It's gotta be frustrating for coaches. This isn't an isolated case. Every coach has guys in training camp every year who have the ability, but not the desire while having to have tough conversations when releasing guys who have all the desire in the world but lack the ability.
  12. It's amazing how Denver has marketed itself as a mountain town. People get very unpleasantly surprised when they get out there and find out that Denver is actually very much a Great Plains city that used to have great mountain access until traffic became prohibitive. When I moved from Huntersville to Lakewood in the fall of '07, Charlotte traffic was WAY worse than Denver traffic. Like not even close. We bounced up to Evergreen in early '08. Within five years, that traffic situation had pulled a complete 180 and Denver traffic had gotten WAY worse than Charlotte traffic.
  13. Yeah, the difference with streaming services is that it doesn't get constantly crammed down your throats. Stuff you don't really care about (for me that would be things like the summer Olympics, network news, reality TV, etc) is just a lot easier to tune out and forget about. Honestly, if it wasn't for social media I probably wouldn't even know the Olympics are actually going on right now.
  14. I don't know if they're going to get him signed. They're playing games with his contract with offset language and bonus payout dates. All the precedents are working against them but they're evidently dug in. Wilson's family isn't exactly hurting for money. If there's someone positioned to give them double middle fingers and just re-enter the draft next year, it's this guy. Long story short, the names and faces in the organization might change but the Jets are gonna Jet.
  15. Kelvin "It's Always Someone Else's Fault" Benjamin. Remember when he was going to light the league up once he could get away from Cam and play with a QB who could "place the ball better"? How's that working out, Kev?
  16. I can honestly say I've watched none of the Olympics. I honestly love cutting the cord. No satellite/cable/network TV is absolutely refreshing. Everyone should try it out.
  17. Except when we're winning late season games when we're already out of contention. That was one of Ron's specialties.
  18. Given his talent and our OL situation, I'd be surprised if this isn't the case.
  19. If we fired Brady after giving him two seasons with Teddy Bridgewater and Sam Darnold, God help us getting any offensive mind worth a plug nickel to even interview for his vacated position.
  20. I've been saying it for years. Earl Thomas was the key piece to the Legion of Boom.
  21. It's possible, but most of these guys are at an age where they're nearing the end of their athletic prime and/or have a significant history of injury. Guys like Reddick sign short term to try to leverage a good year into a big payday. I'm sure we tried to get him to agree to more than one year.
  22. I get it, parents of autistic children want someone to blame. I just wish they realized the "science" behind those claims was debunked long ago. It was a straight up fraud by a British doctor trying to position himself to profit from it.
  23. Denver's population growth and the reality that there's only two roads all of the Front Range is trying to head up I-70 or 285 every weekend. SLC's draw is that it actually is what Denver tries to position itself as - a major city with the mountains in your backyard. When you land at DIA, you'd think you were in Kansas. The mountains are waaaaaay over there in the distance. In SLC, you're 30 minutes from a ski lift.
