  1. I'm just gonna be brutally honest here. No. I'm not. We're a bad team in a truly awful division. Winning this truly awful division doesn't change the reality that we're a bad team. Put any NFC South team in any other division and none of us are in playoff talks. None of us deserve to be. Whoever wins this awful division is just costing themselves significant draft assets and I could honestly see winning the division deluding Tepper into thinking he's got this all figured out now. It would be a significant net negative for the future of the organization. Sorry to rain on the parade.
  2. Win the division and at least be competitive with a chance to win in the wildcard round (while not making egregious game management decisions). And sell Tepper on how he's going to fix the offense. Because as bad as Tepper has been as an owner I think he does realize this is an offense driven league.
  3. That knee is done. Wonder if he'll be ready for week one next year?
  4. This is the same guy who thinks that a league MVP should be considered the absolute floor of acceptability for our next QB. Just FYI.
  5. Most rational people don't get your shitty takes.
  6. It doesn't happen often anywhere with the key exception of someone actually wanting to step back and take a decreased role. If you're flat out wanting to demote someone you just gotta sack up and fire them. It ain't gonna work out.
  7. Speaking from a managerial perspective, I'm not a big fan of keeping guys in demoted roles. Usually throws off the whole organizational dynamic.
  8. I honestly don't have a problem keeping Wilks unless he plans on retaining McAdoo. In that case, he gotta go.
  9. You choose to ignore reality because of a preconceived motion. That's on you. Capitalizing it doesn't make it reality.
  10. The reality that the last three SB teams were all near the bottom of the league in rushing yardage stung pretty bad.
  11. Their redzone offensive play calling is reminiscent of UNC's. It's just awful. Not having an OL does make it complicated though.
  12. What stats do I scoff at? I throw out as many stats as anyone in this board. PFF ratings aren't stats.
  13. The rankings are what they are. They weren't good running teams.
  14. Yeah, this is not the year to win a dreadful division with a bad record. If we had our QB I'd be all about it. But we need a fuging QB. The higher pick we have the more potential options we'll have. It's really that simple for me.
  15. The last three SB champs had no running game to speak of. They were all 24th or worse in rushing yards
  16. Last 3 SB champs and their rushing ranking: Rams - 25th Bucs - 29th Chiefs - 24th
  17. The Dolphins offense is just flat out off tonight. The Chargers' OL is terribad. I don't really follow the Chargers so I don't know what's going if they're injury riddled or what but this OL is trash.
  18. You don't when your opponent turns it over three times. Can't count on that.
  19. A fluke fumble recovery TD and a CB falling down and the Dolphins have made this a three point game. Wild. They should be getting curb stomped the way they've played. Sometimes it really is better to be lucky than good.
  20. Darnold attempted six passes today 5+ yards beyond the LOS. We have basically all but eliminated the forward pass from the playbook.
  21. If we win out Wilks should get the job. But if we win out while basically minimizing the QB position McAdoo has to go. I just don't know if Wilks would have the guts to make that call.
  22. Chargers just got bailed out with a bullshit roughing call. They need to spend every resource they have this off-season on OL or they're gonna get Herbert killed. Watching Herbert and Burrow get beat on behind trash OLs is reminiscent of how we did Cam. At least they're not tasked with being the leading rusher too.
