  1. Don't worry. You're too hard headed to die. You'll argue the grim reaper into submission.
  2. I can distinctly remember a time when I thought 63 was old as dirt. Hell, 30 was old as dirt. I'm still decades away from 63, but it sure doesn't seem all that old anymore.
  3. Says the guy arguing for "perfect prospects" and wanting Greg Little who has shown to be terrible to play over a proven NFL OL who has struggled with injuries. I still haven't decided whether your as dumb as you portray yourself or whether you're just a pure troll. I think it's a bit of both, but the more you post the stronger the "dumb" argument gets.
  4. Pitch count definitely doesn't mean he won't be heavily used. I just don't want to see us use this dude up before we're ready to compete.
  5. Perfect prospect, right? Little is trash. Erving is decent, but injury prone. Little is doubtful to even make the roster.
  6. I hope we put CMC on a pitch count, especially if we're not in contention.
  7. Definitely who is playing where on the OL. Also FS. Where is Chinn primarily lining up?
  8. This stuff happens when there are major changes. We hired a new GM. This guy probably felt like his toes were getting stepped on. Hell, they probably were. Something had to give and it wasn't gonna be the new GM that was just hired so Rhule's tag along buddy had to go. Rhule and this dude go waaaaaay back. St least back to '98 when they were both at Albright. Honestly, I see it as a good thing the move was made. With the control Rhule has if he put his foot down and wanted his buddy to stay he'd still be here and from the sound of it he'd still be ruffling a lot of feathers.
  9. Oh,don't get me wrong. His arm is trash. It just wasn't AS trash as I expected. I don't think his arm is any physically worse than a Jared Goff or Kirk Cousins but mentally he plays scared with his target choices.
  10. His arm wasn't nearly as big of a limiting factor as I expected it to be. He just doesn't have the guts to make the throws.
  11. He's probably butthurt. He was likely hoping for, maybe expecting an extension. Instead, we drafted his replacement. I expect him to show up with a chip on his shoulder at camp. He's playing to audition elsewhere for his next contract.
  12. Moose had nearly 1500 yards and 16 TDs in '04 when Smitty broke his arm. Anderson is our best #2 WR since then, but yeah... Moose was definitely better.
  13. It really doesn't matter with Little. He probably needed an outstanding offseason to have a shot at the roster. All those healthy roster scratches last year was all I needed to see to know this staff is pretty much done with his ass. I'm honestly a little surprised they haven't just already cut him and gotten it over with already.
  14. I said it's most likely Robby plays here this season. The keyword you missed in your leap to conclusion was the big "IF".
  15. You don't have to make up any new reasons why Sam sucks. You have to make up reasons why he won't suck here. We'll all know soon enough what he can do here, but you're basically saying that being grounded in reality has grown old around here.
  16. Myself and others said it at the time. Bradberry wasn't just the better football player, but he was a better football player at a considerably more valuable position. Another Marty hallmark - zero awareness of positional value, hence all the cap space and draft equity he spent over the years on RBs and off the ball LBs while we fielded trash at OT, CB, etc.
  17. To be clear, I had no issues with extending Short. My meltdown on Short came when Hurney "restructured" him creating a lot more guaranteed money in his contract. That's a classic Hurney move - restructuring aging vets creating more guaranteed money to get immediate cap relief. Guys Hurney restructured almost always are guys who should be being released instead. He takes a problem and makes it even worse.
  18. We were mad because we had Norman tagged and then rescinded it after any and all good FA options had already signed elsewhere leaving us forced to do exactly what we did - just spam picks at CBs out of desperation.
  19. Well, that's what happens when you A) draft poorly and B) let good homegrown talent walk (Norman and Bradberry come to mind immediately)
  20. It's Jacksonville. Definitely a jeans shorts type of crowd. This is right up their alley.
  21. Yep. The combo of a QB who has not been good and a lot of other weapons to spread the ball around probably makes it unlikely for him to out up career year type numbers.
