    My guess is that they were in the same situation. Planning to release this guy anyway. So it's basically two guys who were gonna get cut getting swapped for one another.

    By trying to play him at nickel. He's a LB. Actually, he's an old school in the box SS but we call those LBs in the modern NFL.

    I don't think that's quite fair. Little just sucked, period. I don't think he was good at any aspect of playing OT.

    He looks good when he's allowed to play downhill and maul. Ask him to play in space or pass protect against speed rushers in obvious passing situations and it's struggle city. I hope he works out for us but on paper a wide zone scheme is magnifying his weaknesses and minimizing his strengths. We'll see how it goes. Kinda feels like Jeremy Chinn at FS though.

    You realize those combine measurements have nothing to do with actually executing a zone blocking scheme, right? Lots of combine warriors wash out of the league. There's a reason why a lot of not most analysts were actually projecting him as a guard in the NFL.

    I do think it's likely that our list of candidates at GM and HC likely started where everyone else's ended. The guys with other options were gonna choose other options.

    They are. Firing Ron to hire Quinn is pretty baffling. Then again, we fired Fitterer just to promote his understudy so... yeah

    The Panthers having guys show promise as rookies and then regressing or plateauing sure is a pretty common theme.

    $2-4M??? LOLOLOLOL The Niners gave Gross-Matos $18M over two years. I guarantee you they were offering at LEAST that to Young. Expect for Young to get quite a bit more on a short term prove it deal. A lot of guys make a LOT of money off of potential and draft status.

    I don't like that we have an arguably top 5 OG top 5 LT money. That's not what smart teams do. I mean... it's not like a Panthers fan has far to look to find something to be upset about. We don't have to go nitpicking. LOL

    Because another team valued him more. Talk about scheme all you want but I very seriously doubt Luvu left money on the table to sign with the Commanders. We valued offensive guards more. A LOT more.

    Ah, they'll all use the same price fixing program like they're doing in a lot of rental housing markets. People have to have a place to live though, they don't have to eat at restaurants. I hope they take an absolute bath for this.

    We're probably gonna go from an awful team with decent defense and the worst offense in the NFL to an awful team with mediocre offense and the worst defense in the NFL.
