  1. Bryce is gonna be here next year. It just is what it is. I want to see a legit QB competition in TC and preseason though. You can't just hand Bryce the job again next year.
  2. It wasn't even a sweepstakes. The NFL was gonna force JR to sell to David Tepper, period. He was next man up for the good old boy's club. Sucks they didn't force Snyder out quicker. Lord knows there was WAY more dirt on Snyder than there was on JR and they didn't move on him until they found out he was withholding a few bucks from the pot.
  3. Talent still shows. That's the part y'all don't want to acknowledge. Even in a complete poo show you can recognize talent. Where's the flashes of talent? Not stats, not wins, just those plays that make you say, "Yeah, this guy shows something. I can see him being that dude in the right situation." In 13 starts how many plays has he honestly made that you wouldn't expect pretty much any roster caliber NFL QB to be able to make? That's my concern. I'm not seeing flashes of the talent that can lift a team. Bryce looks like the type of guy who is never going to add digits to the win column. He'll get you as far as the team around him can carry him. Other teams call those types of guys replacement level backups.
  4. I honestly don't. I'd feel differently if I was seeing signs of NFL talent but when everyone who takes the field at QB in the NFL whether it's UDFAs, backups, or 3rd stringers look like they have a higher level of raw talent than our #1 overall pick that pill is bitter as fug. Rookie mistakes I can deal with. They happen. But you want to see flashes of that high level talent. You can't develop that.
  5. Hindsight being 20/20 and all that if we keep CMC, include Burns instead of Moore in the trade to Chicago for #1, then draft Stroud at #1 everything is so much different.
  6. I generally keep it simple. Brisket, pork butt, whole turkeys and chickens. I would like to get a hold of a good chunk of bear though. That fatty meat should smoke up real nice.
  7. The Chargers had a shot there. I don't know why that dude didn't go for it. They reversed the field with the lateral, had a wall setup, and they guy just didn't go for it. That's a failure on the player. If you go for it and don't make it, it is what it is but that's the best shot you're gonna get in that situation.
  8. It's true. When you have a team with generational fans an d a history of excellence the fans will show. That's a big issue with the Panthers. We don't really have generational fans and we have no history of sustained excellence.
  9. Bills just caught a huge break. I don't see how they could overturn that call. Now they can run the ball a few times, make the Chargers take their last timeout, and kick a go ahead FG with hardly anytime left. I think it's a mistake there by the refs not to stick with the call on the field.
  10. Bills gotta be hoping this gets called back. But it won't be. That's a TD. Chargers gonna get the ball back with over two minutes to go.
  11. It's almost absurd that Hurts will almost certainly break Cam's rushing TD records just on QB sneaks. The stats are the stats but the way they were earned were a LOT different.
  12. The best organization generally have the least involved ownership on the football side of the house.
  13. Maybe. The guy has great talent. Closer to prime Cam physically than anyone I thought I'd see for a long time. But I don't know how you cut out the WTF throws and keep the magic. Mahomes is about the only guy who has figured out how to consistently roll the dice while keeping turnover fairly low and even he's starting to throw the picks this year.
  14. Allen has just done too much of that poo this year. If he was a young guy still getting his legs under him in the NFL that's one thing but he's a 6th year starter at this point. He shouldn't be making so many of these WTF throws at this point in his career.
  15. He's been trying to wing it himself while asking for advice from his NFL contacts. It blows my mind how he seemingly is oblivious to the reality that his NFL contacts have zero incentive to helping him succeed. He needs to throw a fat ass check to one of them and tell him to build me a football organization that I can be proud of and then leave him the fug alone and give him a chance to do it without constantly looking over his shoulder and wanting weekly meetings. Just let them do their damn job.
  16. I mean, Tepper was supposedly trying to model us after the Steelers (so was JR) and we see how that's gone. I really wish Tepper would just throw a bag at Kevin Colbert. Not as GM or Team President, just as a consultant to build him a football organization that he'll commit to fuging off and leaving them alone to do their job.
  17. Their secondary is the worst I've seen in the NFL since ours in 2016 after Gettleman yanked the tag from Norman and spammed draft picks in order to field a secondary. It looks like that.
  18. The long time Redskins fans I know (I went to college in Virginia) think Howell is that dude and want to see a new staff and heavy investments on the OL and on the secondary.
  19. It was reported in training camp that it was close to mutiny status. Then they got off to a decent start and things quietened down but then teams dialed his attack and it's been a struggle test sense. It's pretty wild how often a former RB just completely abandons the run despite having a first year starter at QB and an OL that struggles mightily in pass protection. It's pretty baffling.
  20. And just like that, the Bills and Allen go from looking like poo to THAT play. 10-7
  21. Oh, we can throw down on that one sir.
  22. Meanwhile, Josh Allen looks like poo again tonight.
  23. I don't think general NFL fandom really understands how trash Bieniemy has been. Not to mention they've had a typical Rivera OL.
  24. Probably gonna boil down to where they draft and what they think of the prospects available. Either way, they're sitting pretty. They're probably gonna end up with a top 10 rookie QB and trading Howell for decent return or Howell with a shiny new top 10 OT or WR.
  25. Well, damn. Add Easton Stick to the list of QBs who look better than Bryce Young. By the way, who the fug is Easton Stick?
