  1. Past draft status has (or at least should) have zero impact on current value. I say "should" because I absolutely think we got hoodwinked into trading significantly too much for Darnold because he was a former #3 overall pick. Robby is still a fairly young WR with proven past production and legit field stretching capability. If I'm a WR needy team I'd be willing to trade a mid-late rounder for him and hope that last year's down performance was an anomaly and largely due to being in a poo show of a situation.
  2. Would love to see TMJ emerge in camp making Robbie expendable. We could use some more draft capital. Surely someone would send us a mid-late rounder for him.
  3. I disagree with them on our overall roster minus QB. I honestly think we're pretty strong there.
  4. These aren't janitors walking out the door on a monthly basis. It's the top people on the organization.
  5. If Tepper Sports was publicly traded it's stock would be in free fall right now.
  6. Seems like no one wants to work for Tepper on the business side in his sports ventures.
  7. Opposing fans and empty seats at BOA will surely appreciate that Panthers logo at midfield and those black helmets if we continue getting our teeth kicked in on the field.
  8. Logo at midfield and black helmets. Looks like Tepper has run through his low hanging fruit now. Time to actually win some football games.
  9. I've been begging for a legit FS for years but no. We're already pretty strapped on draft pick capital and I don't want this staff trading anymore future capital. They need to stink or swim with what they can muster up without further mortgaging our future.
  10. Honestly, I'd let Sam know he's competing for a roster spot. I'd carry a third QB to keep Corral as a third round rookie but I wouldn't carry a third QB to carry Darnold if he loses the primary backup spot to Corral. Yeah, there's no cap savings in releasing Darnold but roster spots are roster spots. I wouldn't keep Darnold simply because there's no cap savings in releasing him if Corral is ready to be the backup.
  11. It's on Matt Rhule IMO. If we had a coach I'd expect this roster to contend for a playoff berth.
  12. I honestly don't know why players continue to grant interviews to professional trolls. Fug 'em. You don't need that type of publicity anyway. I'd blow them off. Yeah, they're going to formulate their narrative around that and paint me in a bad light but like I said, fug 'em. I wouldn't care.
  13. How many times did that actually happen though? He has 56 career INTs. How many are directly attributable to him? Let's say 75%. That's 42. So for argument's sake, let's say he has 42 career INTs that are directly his fault via a boneheaded decision or flat out bad throw. Of those 42, how many do you think came directly after berating an OL for missing a block? Seems most likely to me that situation was probably a one off.
  14. Florio always has to push his agenda. Kitchens' take is encouraging. He understands Mayfield on and off the field as well as anyone in the NFL and has no reason to lie to cover for him.
  15. The average homeowner is going to get a much better job done a lot quicker with a lot less headaches and might even save money when all is said and done by hiring a pro to do any type of significant project. It's just the truth.
  16. I've always liked Leftwich dating back to his days at Marshall but being Brady's OC has to be the easiest job in football. Just let him go to work.
  17. Fug no. One, successful coaches rarely find similar success elsewhere. Two, Bountygate itself is more than enough reason to say fug no on it's own. I cannot bring myself to root for a Sean Payton coached team. Nope. Not gonna do it.
  18. Tepper just seems like a run of the mill bad owner so far. Snyder is one of the worst owners on pro sports history. Not saying Tepper won't get there, but he has a long way to go to earn Snyder comps.
  19. Corral may prove to be a better NFL QB but he doesn't have anywhere near Baker's physical talent. But Sam Darnold is proof positive that physical talent doesn't necessarily make for an NFL QB.
  20. Reddick wasn't very good against the run either. You can afford to have one guy on your DL that isn't great being ran right at. You can't get away with both of your edges being that way.
  21. Avalanches are terrifying. I used to do a lot of backcountry snowboarding but quit when I found out my wife was pregnant. That just changed the risk assessment calculation big time. We were pretty conservative with our decision making but the Colorado snowpack is fuging SKETCHY at its best. You take someone from Washington or California and have them dig a pit in Colorado and they just look at you like "What the FUG??!!!" while you're looking at the same pit like "Hmmm... better than I expected."
  22. This is not a great situation for someone with alcohol and depression issues to be walking into. Corral was my second favorite QB in the draft but I thought he needed to go to a stable organizational environment. I didn't think we were a great fit. Just being honest.
  23. Smart move honestly. If they're right they can spike the football and proclaim loudly and proudly that they called it. If they're wrong no one will remember anyway.
