Not really. Defensive minded head coaches are always focusing on the defense as that's their background. They think defense first and offense second so more emphasis is in building a great defense. They would be perfectly happy to win a game 2-0.

Teppers problem is that he got where he is by trusting his opinion only. He did all the research himself for years and had enough savvy to predict trends. He became so good he was able to outsmart the likes of Goldman Sachs in hedge fund management and it made him billions. With his sports team investments he's still learning the game. He's still learning where to allocate his investments. I think he's beginning to figure out how to outsmart his competition that is the other owners.

I still am not sure I like him yet.

You better not joke the guy could be the next starter.

Although I'm still not convinced Fitterer doesn't deserve some amount of the credit for all 4 of those blunders i have to agree.

I suppose it's better than having your entire salary taken away because you were cut to make room for your replacement.

The best you can hope for is to find two guys on cheaper contracts that could give you an equal amount of yards that DJ produced. You could possibly increase your TD production as well.

Last years team has been blown up. This team will be completely different as it will consist of a lot new players in starting roles. They have to install a new scheme and philosophy on both offense and defense in about 4 months. The coaches are 99% all new and a lot of them have never worked together before. On top of that they are putting their hopes in a rookie qb that they hope they can get ready by game 1. Sounds like we should expect the playoffs at least.

That's a pretty good start I must say. Find some depth/rotation for those guys and we are ready to roll.
