That's an interesting take but you also have to consider that you cannot predict where those other 2 first's will fall. They could just as easily be CMC level as easily as they could be Vernon level. You could also draft a Pro bowl level QB anywhere in the draft or even an UDFA. It's a crapshoot. This is a losers bet by going all in on one player.

That right there is what you call a salesman. Or a politician, there really is no difference.

It certainly didn't help I would assume. But his play relative to his salary had more to do with it than anything would be my bet.

I would look to do a play for player/players trade before I would offer picks.
