    He won't be involved because nobody but Hurney would give CMC a contract like he has. He's great but that contract makes him virtually untradable to any sane GM. But stranger things have happened. We would still be in the hook for the bonus money. I just don't see any reasonable way you can pull it off.

    It certainly didn't help I would assume. But his play relative to his salary had more to do with it than anything would be my bet.

    I would look to do a play for player/players trade before I would offer picks.

    The rookie will be cheap. Getting ride of Teddy's contract is what is holding us back.

    It certainly wouldn't prevent us from drafting one this draft. Finding someone to dump Teddy on will be difficult.

    I misspoke. He restructured it which only made matters worse. The DG extension was bad enough.

    He should not have done that period. Marty loved to move money around compounding our Cap woes. KK should have been traded or release before the first contact but it is what it is.

    So he dug the hole deeper but that's ok it's Marty? And because nobody on this message board raised a stink about the first extension somehow relieves Marty from compounded it now? You guys are going to go down swinging trying to make Marty something hes not and never was.

    The first one yes, was against that one also. But Marty compounded that mistake by extending him again.

    Pull the band-aid off now and cut your losses. They have paid him a butt load of money to sit on the beach for damn near 3 seasons. Hell no to another extension.
