  1. Who's yall? If a couple posters somehow turns into everyone demanding then I cannot imagine how this is applied in other areas of life.
  2. I still cannot believe what I witnessed last season. Nothing about that staff turned out to be Allstars. For a group that claimed to be all in on a qb they did absolutely nothing to help him be a better qb or win games. That offense was horrendous.
  3. He can't win in Dallas, wtf do you think he will here? No, just no. He sucks.
  4. Want? I'm just a spectator. I'm just surprised Tepper went with someone so green that's all. I've never heard of this guy. All I know is that it's a tall order for someone so green to build an offense much less a team.
  5. He sounds like he does. Frank knew football very very well also. Coaching? Not so much. He's been mostly a wr coach. He's worked with a few qb's and 1 year calling plays. With the task ahead of him he better walk on water.
  6. I want to know who designed the playbook. How good are these coaches, really? How smart is the guy any?
  7. You forgot to mention that we are not a good team. But I'm all for it. It beats the hell our of the alternative.
  8. No, I was referring to the fact 6 starting qb's came from the same draft.
  9. It's extremely rare. Go back through past draft and count how many times that's happened.
  10. I'm undecided. He comes off as a Pelaton instructor that's a bit overwhelmed with this football thing.
  11. Drinking early are we? Seriously, if they pull that off I may have to give D&D a little credit. I'm not seeing it but I love the enthusiasm.
  12. But Frank wasn't going to address any of those issues until this offseason. WTF?
  13. To quote old Foxxy, it is what it is. Dave has his work cut out for him.
  14. All you have to do is draft them 1st overall and that's all you need. Haven't you heard?
  15. Historically bad? There's always worse trades plor decisions than the Panthers make. It's not the end if the world. It's just a 2 year gamble. It hurts to lose the picks because the seriously needed before they went all in regardless of the qb taken. It was stupid to give all that up with the roster they way it was. At least they are focusing on the entire roster this time around.
  16. Maybe. But one season does not a HOF player make. Huston has to worry about continuing to build around him or that talent will be wasted.
  17. I'm not convinced Williams will do anything in Chicago. You can play what if all day. What if he's a bust and CJ comes back down to earth after there a seasons worth of film on him? What if another rookie goes on the win ROY and it's not one of the first 3 qb's? That's why it's all a matter of what the coach is trying to run and the kind of players he needs to run it. That all makes it impossible to predict what will happen with these kids.
  18. I think that will largely depend on how good Canales will be at creating an offense. I have to remind myself he is the least experienced headcoach in the league. He has 1 year as an OC from which he may or may not have designed the entire offense. That's a big ask for someone so green and a team so messed up. In reality there's probably only 3 new starters on offense with a few rookies thrown in, who may or my not contribute right away. They only thing that will truly be different is the offensive playbook.
  19. I've seen too many mistakes made in the draft that look like a sound selection at the time. You cannot predict how these kids will do in the nfl. There are just too many things that have to be in place for them to succeed beyond natural ability. Then you have the money and prestige that come from playing at this level. Things you cannot really predict how it will impact their dedication to their game or to the team once they get here. But desperation will make a GM do crazy things.
  20. If the team holding the 1st pick wants to trade it they probably should reconsider. Chicago realistically should have drafted their qb last year. But they got lucky and found a sucker dumber than they were.
  21. That's because it never works out. The Panthers will recover from it next season but the scars still remain. If Bryce turns into anything it will still not recoup that short term cost. Long term they are not crippled which is all that matters.
  22. The trade up compounds the mistake. It's bad enough when you've earned your way organically to that pick. But when you trade up for it? You better get the best of the bunch. And then that player may not live up to the expectations of being the franchise savior. There's no saving some franchises but 1 player never solves enough to get you over the top.
