God I hate this team. And this coach. And this owner. An entire collection of losers.

I don’t think any coaches are being scared off. There’s 32 of these jobs and it’s the pinnacle of the football coaching profession. It’s not a choice of Arby’s vs Wendy’s. Most guys would give their left nut for the worst NFL head position.

I’ve never personally hated a coach before. I actually dislike rhule at a very personal level. I think it’s due to his arrogance and being totally out of touch with reality.

Exactly. Even Shula could actually scheme guys open. Remember we played an entire year without even an average NFL receiver on the roster and we went 15-1.

Someone who comes from an actual NFL coaching background would be a nice plus. I don't want some guy whose ceiling is the Outback Bowl.

There's a couple more weeks until we get to where we can begin interviewing. I'd be ok with firing him after next week or after we lose to the Bucs to close out the home schedule without a win at BOA since September.

With the benefit of hindsight, the 2012 roster was a whole lot better than what we have now. Also, that 2012 stretch to end the season was a lot easier than what we are about to face. I don't think it's a valid reason to keep him around to see if he can turn a corner. We all know that isn't gonna happen at this point. There is no tangible benefit to firing him now other than appeasing angry fans, but damn if I wouldn't love for it to happen.

I can see it now. Rhule comes into the presser after losing 42-17 in week 18 to Tampa to finish the season 5-12. "I think we improved in a lot of areas this year." "We are a good football team. I'm proud of how we prepared every week." "Trust the process." "We are going to get back to work tomorrow morning, I'm excited for next year." Panthers fans

The fact that he apparently is drawing interest gives me some clue of what other teams think the problem is.

I hate to say it, but I agree. This team needs an enema…again. They need to erase any and all doubt that the elevator is on the way up with the current staff.
