They like finding good skill sets and coaching them up. Morgan--has the size and the tools, but just was not part of that Bowling Green/Florida International QB pipeline to the NFL...I think Jordan is a good athlete that MIGHT be out of position at Cincy--he could be a center or maybe he is more of a pure RG if that makes any sense....But in the wide zone, I expect him to be better than what he was at Cincy. Erving--good athlete, can play all 5 OL positions. Elflein--good athlete, can play G/C. Christensen--good athlete, can play 4 OL positions (questionably) We are seeing a pattern, but will they keep Darnold safe? I expect to see a lot of running the football, lotta short passes, not a lotta deep passes. Sounds like Bridgewater, but Darnold was hitting the WRs in stride so they could gain YACs. Fitterer---if you can't pick an OL, get someone in who can. We need to protect Darnold if we are going to succeed.

Jordan seems to be a good athlete who is young (23) and the light has not yet come on. He has improved. We seem to be gravitating toward these athletic OL and it is obvious that the chemistry is not there yet. We saved money (cutting Moore) and added some G/C depth. I see no problem with this.

Then what about the fact that Morgan used to work the hay fields naked and go to church. He was a bailer bare and went to temple afterwards. Yes that happened.

Good point, but let me add that I don't think anyone saw Marshall there at the end of round 2 (wasn't he like pick 57 or something?) I think when we picked him, Moore's fate was sealed.

Trying to stay offensive, but the more the merrier. Luvu might be an example of how misused talent was there. Let's hope it rubs off and Darnold and Elf go off this year.

I am guessing Morgan and Darnold may have forged a friendship and Darnold might have helped bring Morgan here. Both are similar in style. I am not sure he is better than Grier, but I have not much on him. Now we have Elflein, Anderson, and both QBs from the 2020 NYJ dynasty. Quietly making it happen.

From the time he was signed, he dropped from 3rd WR to what appeared to be 5th--maybe 6th. That has to play in your head.

This could mean that we like our roster. Michael Jordan may not have been a great LG (I dunno) but he played Center at Ohio state as well--maybe they want to move him there...It is concerning that Urban Myer (Jax) did not take him. He might be the backup center and not a LG. I firmly believe that Christensen will be at LG at some point during the season.

I thought he got taken....not sure, but I will try to find it.
