I may be in the minority here, but I still don't think he will be here next season. He has done better but he still isn't playing like a #1 pick. I'll take him over some we have seen this season. Marquis Haynes lasted about a whole game before he was released again. I don't think Shaq Lawson made it into one.

We are either going to squeak out a win or get blown tf out. I don't see any other outcomes. Their defense is probably worse than ours but I think Baker puts up 30 points easily against us, maybe even by the 3rd Quarter.

Clowney sits out a lot but will probably play. Don't look like Coker will be back either. Not worried about LP guys but doubt (thankfully) that Scott will not be back this week.

I'm actually the opposite. I think the Panthers win this week and then get stomped in Philly. I think we lose to Tampa around Christmas too.

He haven't really had a big WR in a long time. Coker kinda fills that, Legette hasn't been too great at contested catches. I like Sanders but I think one of our offseason targets will be another TE or a big frame WR.

We're going to see how he does. I think this week is a good opportunity for him. Tampa's defense is worse than ours and he should be confident. I'm waiting to see reacts when he has another bad game. Will he come out swinging the next week or will he clam up and play scared again.

I think we should do it sooner than later so we don't have to pay LT money. I'd really consider putting Lewis at Center long term and Ickey at LG. Christensen to RT and draft a true LT high. Will Campbell comes to mind.

Every year it becomes more and more of a risk. We already have Lewis and Hunt tied up with a TON of cap space. We will need a Center, and god knows Ekwonu will find a way to weasel into an extension which won't be cheap. Should we really tie up even more cap space in a 31 year old? The smart move would be to draft and get that rookie contract and use the cap space on DL, Edge, WR, CB, etc.

Deserves to take up cap room when they are a risk or decline or injury? Yeah, this is a Panthers forum. Let's lock up Shaq on 5 year 100 million dollar deal too since he's such a swell fella and been around so long.

I'm going to be the odd man out here but whatever. You get rid of him. He's already older than Kawaan short when he started falling apart. He's a fan favorite and this franchise has the worst luck with resigning guys like this and then they ride IR for 2-3 years. If he was 3 years younger than sure. Realistically, he probably only has 1-2 good years left before he starts to decline. Put Christensen there, or slide Ekwonu over and draft a real LT not an overrated Guard. We need to do him like the Chargers did Okung. They were about the same age btw. You can probably ride with his contract into next year but, I would bail after that.

We're going to beat Tampa (either game) and we are going to beat Dallas. We will finish at 5 wins like most predicted. I know Dallas won today but believe me, it's a fluke. We will beat them and McCarthy will get fired. We will split Tampa, Get blown out by Philly, beat Dallas, barely lose to Arizona, and probably put up an okay fight against Atlanta.

Don't worry we will have a meltdown game in a few weeks and everyone will be back to crying.

I blame Evero because he is overrated. Vance Joseph created the defense in Denver that he took credit for. Wilks ran the ball down his throat and Darnold had a 103.8 rtg. Last year we were decent in yards allowed, and horrible in everything else. Only reason? We kept giving up good field position. He's had his choice of players to bring in since his scheme is so "complicated." Maybe he should stop trying to be so fancy like running Cover 4 on 3rd and 1 earlier and focus on fundamentals like tackling. These years of Eric Washington, Phil Snow, and Evero must have gotten you confused on what a real defense looked like. Go back and watch the McDermott and Wilks years- this dude is soffffT.
