  1. Mike Kaye posted some Bryce hate today too. I think the media has had enough of the sugar coating with Bryce and Canales. Bryce is another game or two away from losing his job, and Canales may start getting some Scott Fowler/Joe Person heaters like Rhule and Rivera got if he doesn’t pull him.
  2. Randy Fasani was the worst. I think Matt Moore may have had one of the best arms, but he just never developed right.
  3. I don’t know, if we can not have a season where we only win 1-3 games, even if we miss the playoffs and are 7-9 wins. This job looks more attractive, especially if we can do the same next year. We also look more stable for Free Agents. More guys would be interested in coming here if we weren’t scraping the barrel every year.
  4. You can’t believe him, especially at the podium. I can think of 4 lies right off the bat. 1. Bryce is starter moving forward/Bryce benched next day. 2. When Andy is healthy, he will return as starter/ didn’t happen. 3. He prefers to run the ball on 2nd short. Literally throws the ball on 2nd and short the whole next game. 4. Whatever in the hell cover up went on with Bryce’s ankle/Andys thumb. Maybe they aren’t flat out lies, but he is very misleading and changes direction a lot. His face during the press conferences just looks so condescending and annoyed. I think he just spouts off whatever gets him through it without making the locker room hate him.
  5. I imagine he would be talking about the offensive side of the ball. That’s where most of his time, meetings, and game planning is going to be. I don’t think he would be around the defense much. Probably some of the younger guys, TEs/WRs maybe.
  6. I don’t know. I guess because there is just so much money that will be fixed in it. There will be more question and attention paid to questionable calls and games. I do worry though that the sportsbooks themselves will work with the league or news outlets to push false or misleading media to sway betters a certain way (if they don’t do that already).
  7. What kills me is his scrambling. He takes off in the opposition direction that I would think he would go. Like I watch other games and see other QBs and I’m like “Oh he’s gonna step up, or roll right” and they do it. Bryce will have the left side wide open and bail the other way or vice versa. And when he rolls out he doesn’t stay parallel with where he’s standing, he takes this HUGE belly back 7-10 yards deep and takes even more range off his throws.
  8. lol worried the leadership council is gonna meet about his ass
  9. A problem outside of Young is Canales’ leadership style. Can’t say I’m a fan of having a player led culture when maybe 1-2 of your leaders have actually experienced winning. Maybe if we had a host of veterans that all came from winning organizations and had success. While l like them, I don’t know what Jaycee Horn, Chuba Hubbard, Taylor Moton, and Derrick Brown know about winning in the NFL.
  10. This is why I give up on just about all parlays except ones like you just mentioned. I just stick to singles and keep rolling money over on the ones I hit.
  11. Well I’ve always had the feeling that the NFL influences certain games to match their preferred storyline. I think before sports betting was so widespread it was harder to sort out and less people cared. I think the bigger betting gets, it will eventually come to an end. As more money pours into it, more rocks are going to get turned over and I think it’ll actually make the sport a lot better in the long run.
  12. I do agree with you on that. To me, he was purely just brought in to run scout team. Otherwise there wouldn’t have been all the panic to sign White when they did.
  13. I have mixed views on it. I know it was still going on behind the scenes prior to the big rise the last few years. I do think that it will eventually stomp out some of the corruption once regulations develop more and are enforced more. I think there is some shady poo still going on, especially in the NFL but I just don’t think anyone has been held accountable yet. I think in the next 3-5 years there will be a big bust in the NFL where there was collusion at high levels to influence the outcome of certain games/seasons. And when that happens there will be a lot of pissed off big money that will root a lot of the BS out.
  14. In all reality, we all pretty much knew 6-9 wins was the next step this year and that we aren’t a playoff team. That’s were we are on pace to be. It is frustrating because we could be exceeding those expectations if not for just a couple of things.
  15. I agree. But if your house is flooded, your garage door won’t open, you have a missing piece of vinyl siding, and your front porch needs swept. The focus is probably going to be on unflooding your house first, nobody wants to talk about the porch being dirty or vinyl siding. Bryce is the largest issue (not the only one) and improving the QB position impacts this team much more than solving any of our other problems at the moment, except maybe Tepper but we can’t control that.
  16. But he is the biggest problem. You solve that, and then you address the next biggest problem, and so on and so on. Right now, he’s 2021/2022 Matt Rhule. When he’s gone, it’ll be Evero, or Morgan, or the WRs or something else.
  17. Because it’s obviously the biggest problem. If you could map the Panthers issues into a Pareto chart, Bryce would be the first bar and it would be as long as the paper.
  18. What adjustments can you make when your players are limited? Everyone knows Bryce can’t push the ball vertically downfield. The Saints literally set their defense to stop the run and short pass and make Bryce do that and he couldn’t. WTF is Canales supposed to do other than bench Bryce? Give him a robotic arm? Run HB pass every play? Design a brand new playbook just for this week? I’m at a loss. Bryce’s limitations are the exact same as Cam’s in 2018 after he hurt his shoulder and couldn’t throw further than 20 yards the rest of the season. That’s what they have to game plan with each week. Yall really think a guy who had Russell Wilson, Geno Smith, and Baker Mayfield doesn’t know how to call vertical pass plays??
  19. If Bryce hadn’t been with Saban and had all the exposure at Alabama I doubt he gets drafted before Day 3 and probably isn’t in the NFL at this point.
  20. Tide is definitely shifting. A lot of Bryce defenders across different social media are finally giving up on him. We we are 1-8 his play can hide behind the rest of the team. We start winning and it’s harder to disguise. A lot of his fans were waiting on him to deliver and were disappointed. And that’s because in the end, fans care more about winning than individual players.
  21. Yeah complete turnover next offseason. Sign a young guy, draft a guy, sign a vet. Have a true competition through preseason and training camp and see what happens.
  22. No because we don’t need one. This team team would be 7-2 right now with an average QB.
  23. I’m going back to calling him Turnover Fred. He almost got away from it.
  24. No he doesn’t make the game plan. But he definitely limits it and there’s only so much you can accomplish with him. So it’s hard to ask Canales to make a game plan with a limited player. When I moved out on my own years ago, My Dad gave me 3 things: a roll of duct tape, WD-40, and a pair of pliers. He said you can fix most things with those 3 things long enough to get you by. We are asking Canales to game plan with just the duct tape.
