We're going to beat Tampa (either game) and we are going to beat Dallas. We will finish at 5 wins like most predicted. I know Dallas won today but believe me, it's a fluke. We will beat them and McCarthy will get fired. We will split Tampa, Get blown out by Philly, beat Dallas, barely lose to Arizona, and probably put up an okay fight against Atlanta.

Don't worry we will have a meltdown game in a few weeks and everyone will be back to crying.

I blame Evero because he is overrated. Vance Joseph created the defense in Denver that he took credit for. Wilks ran the ball down his throat and Darnold had a 103.8 rtg. Last year we were decent in yards allowed, and horrible in everything else. Only reason? We kept giving up good field position. He's had his choice of players to bring in since his scheme is so "complicated." Maybe he should stop trying to be so fancy like running Cover 4 on 3rd and 1 earlier and focus on fundamentals like tackling. These years of Eric Washington, Phil Snow, and Evero must have gotten you confused on what a real defense looked like. Go back and watch the McDermott and Wilks years- this dude is soffffT.

Not really. Through 11 games Reich averaged 16.6. Canales is at 17.8. Defense last year produced a lot shorter fields than this season. I can also remember the defense scoring twice in that average last year and a punt return as well. So take that away and Reich's average is 14.9

Evero's defenses are soft.

This. I still have my concerns about his vision/arm strength. Ball comes out way too high because he has to throw with an arc. However, if he plays like this- he could work.

My brain tells me Dave Canales might beat his former employer next week.

He needs to literally look the complete opposite from what I have seen the last two years. I need to see deep passes I need to see 300 yard games I need to see him stop checking the ball down on every 3rd down. I need to see him give a fug

People said the same thing about Sam Darnold in New York. I think Jones is the same player as Darnold tbh. I think he goes into the right environment and he will be okay. It doesn't need to be here though. It needs to be with a Kevin O'Connell, Sean McVay, Kyle Shanahan, Sean Payton type. I don't think Dave is there yet despite his success with Baker. He is still learning how to be a HC.

1) Dalton had more difficult opponents 2) The defense wasn't playing nearly a good as it is now. Dalton would have beat the Saints and Giants by 2 TDs.

I totally believe Bryce will have a horrendous game Sunday and will jump for joy at the thought of having Dalton back in.

I think if you are going to stay in a 3-4 you just keep Evero. I can see them going back to a 4-3 especially with the defensive struggles this year. We still haven't transitioned to a 3-4 and most of our players are flexible. Morgan played in a 4-3 and Seattle/Buffalo both ran 4-3s as well.

Yeah and it makes all the fair weather fans who don't pay attention think they are being serious. Then when we cut/fire/trade somebody they freak out all over social media. Like WHEN we trade Bryce this offseason, all the people that barely pay attention will be "outraged".

At this rate Morgan and Canales will be back and we will probably get some stability for the first time in years. I think Evero goes though. HC vacancies? Locks NYJ- Saleh Already Fired New Orleans- Allen Already Fired NYG- Daboll gets fired unless miracle occurs. Dallas- Jones fired McCarthy Jacksonville- Pederson is done. Maybe? Browns- Stefanski but not really his fault Bears- Eberflus should have been fired last year Raiders- Pierce has been a huge let down after ending 2023 with good momentum. Which brings me to my next point- would you keep Evero with Dennis Allen, Robert Saleh, Matt Eberflus, Patrick Graham, Shane Bowen, and Jim Schwartz all available for DC? Possibly even Vrabel since I don't see a HC role in his near future.

Speaking of CMC, I'm pretty sure Chuba passed him on the Panthers all-time rushing list or is close to it.
