  1. I would have Eric Kendricks in there TODAY.
  2. It looks like Morgan signed Deejay Dallas to keep him around. Arizona already lost James Conner and Trey Benson is injured now. Dallas played for the Cardinals last year.
  3. Also Corbetts MCL is a 6-8 week injury. The 8 week mark would be Week 10 vs New Orleans on November 9th but probably later considering conditioning, etc.
  4. Released: WR Dalevon Campbell OLB DJ Johnson IR: G Chandler Zavala WR David Moore Signed: S Trevion Thomas (CAR Practice Squad) RB Deejay Dallas (CAR Practice Squad) G Jake Curhan (ARI Practice Squad) *LaBryan Ray likely to fill last roster spot, is back practicing. *Will probably use standard elevations for Jimmy Horn Jr. for WR depth with Moore/Campbell/Legette gone or injured.
  5. I think he just tattles on everyone like Hoppin’ Bob from the movie Life.
  6. Yeah I’ll eat poo on that. I did some more research. I just remember the negative. Apparently he ran some hybrid defense out of a 4-3 with 3-4 gap fronts while he was there which is interesting. 2016: Tot D- 6th, Pass D- 5th, Run D-19th 2017: Tot D- 2nd, Pass D- 1st, Run D-21st 2018: Tot D- 5th, Pass D- 2nd, Run D-19th 2019: Tot D- 24th, Pass D-16th, Run D-28th 2020: Tot D-31st, Pass D- 27th, Run D-30th
  7. Why cut him now though? Food for thought: -Canales says need to start playing young guys more. -Jones/Wonnum out; great opportunity for Princeley/Scourton to play. -Instead Johnson starts and plays a ton. Did Morgan cut one of Evero’s guys to make him play the younger guys?
  8. Yes. We’ve never been able to execute 3-4 that effectively. We did an decent job in the 90s but it was never as good as the defense we had in Fox and Rivera’s 4-3. Technically Rhule and Snow ran a 3-3-5 but they did a lot of disguised fronts and would line up in 3-4, 4-4, 4-3, 4-2-5. Snow was pretty clever. But yeah, it was believed that Tepper pushed Ron to do it in 2019 after our defense was struggling to generate a pass rush from the 4-3 in 2018. All that happened was our run D went to ass and we still had no pass rush.
  9. I think the problem with firing Evero is who do you replace him with right now? Most of the Defensive staff are his hand picked guys. -Todd Wash was a horrible DC -Jonathan Cooley called plays in the pre-season and was horrible -Dom Capers is 163 years old and I doubt he can stay awake an entire game
  10. I think he’s still on the treadmill and eating skinny pop
  11. Yeah right now his defense is ranked worse than Evero’s.
  12. I hope we finish 7-10 just to spite the tankers. Draft position doesn’t mean a damn thing if nobody wants to coach here or come here from Free Agency. It means you also need to have people make the correct pick.
  13. Miami, Jets, Saints x 2 = 5 wins which is about right.
  14. We might actually be playing a team worse than us this week. I always look at this each week, first time in a while I’ve seen somebody worse than us in every single category. Things have really gotten bad in Miami. Panthers Offense Total Offense: 24th Pass Offense: 21st Rush Offense: 26th Dolphins Defense Total Defense: 26th Pass Defense: 20th Rush Defense: 30th Dolphins Offense Total Offense: 26th Pass Offense: 22nd Rush Offense: 27th Panthers Defense Total Defense: 19th Pass Defense: 12th Rush Defense: 23rd Turnover Differential Panthers: -1 Dolphins: -2
  15. Can we officially make him Turnover Fred here? I’ve been thinking about this all day.
  16. He said it in 2021, unfortunately
  17. To be fair Rhule did that all the time. And was a culture setter, but his culture sucked and he was an idiot.
  18. Well one thing about the end of that. I don’t think Bryce Young would have replaced Dalton last year if there hadn’t been the wreck. I think Dalton would have kept playing and Bryce would have been gone at the end of season. Canales got caught in a situation where he couldn’t really bench him because the team was looking better in games (even though a lot of it was running the ball better and playing better defense). So he was kinda trapped and didn’t have an out to make a change going into this season. If we lose to Miami, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a change back to Andy. Bryce has played bad but hasn’t had a total meltdown yet. That 2nd half in Arizona saved his ass as well. So overall had Andy left 30 seconds sooner or later that day, we might have a different QB right now.
  19. “The first time he spoke to the Carolina Panthers, John Fox told his new team it simply was not tough enough to win in the NFL”. is echoing in my brain.
  20. No no no. Way too negative. Looks about like the structure in Rock Hill.
  21. The team itself is very soft. Non-physical. It has slowly gotten worse since 20/21. As much as it pains me to say it, Rhule’s team was more physical than Reich’s or Canales’. I think it has gotten way worse since DC got here.
  22. A lot of our problems (other than Bryce) is that nobody on our team has really won at a consistent level before. Like, name one other than Sam Martin that was a consistent starter for a winning team. Bobby Brown (maybe) but he doesn’t even start for us, Robert Hunt? Like one year with Miami when they were decent. Turk Wharton?
