A DB, obviously. C'mon man, where ya been?

Because he violated team and league COVID protocols, just like Aaron Rodge........ oops..... wait a minute. Let the NFL turn away, plug their ears and cover their eyes for a minute.

I know it's a minor point, but they are very good in college.... Someone on this very board tried to tell me how bad Darnold was at USC. 2-year starter, went 10-2 both seasons and 1-1 in 2 Rose Bowl appearances. One of those is one of the biggest comebacks in bowl history again Penn St.

Tepper: Stop the Stadium from Being Overran on a Constant Basis
Anybodyhome replied to Seltzer's topic in Carolina Panthers
When we owned PSLs, there were only about 5K tickets available for sale to the general public. They went on sale on Tuesday or Wednesday and were gone in minutes. Unless there are more general admission tickets available and they're not being sold, I don't know how every game isn't a sell out. Think about it- virtually every seat in the stadium is available as a PSL. -
Tepper: Stop the Stadium from Being Overran on a Constant Basis
Anybodyhome replied to Seltzer's topic in Carolina Panthers
You, and anyone else who happens to own PSLs, are free to sell their individual game tickets to whomever they choose. How would you propose the owner controls that? The team sells PSLs to whomever has the money to buy them. How do you propose the owner controls that? Are you, as a PSL owner, going to eat your single game tickets if the only person wanting to buy them is a Bucs fan, let's say? Or are you going to try to recoup at least some of your loss by selling them to someone who will pay for them? Was there, at some point yesterday, another sell out game announcement made? You think Tepper or any other owner gives a fug who is buying those sell out tickets? We sold our PSLs after 17 seasons and I will freely admit I didn't ask, nor do I care, if the guy who bought them was/is a Panther fan. This team never has a problem putting Panther fans in the stadium in droves when they're winning. The stadium is not 50% Patriot bandwagoners when the Panthers are winning. -
Of course there were signs. Sam Darnold came from a team with a sh!tty O-line, got pounded for a few years and was traded to a team with a sh!tty O-line and is getting pounded. He spent a few years running for his life in NY, went south to Charlotte, where he spends most of his time on the field running for his life. Just because he changed locales didn't necessarily mean things were going to be any better.

$18M cap hit. 'Nuff said.
-
With an $18M cap hit. Sure, that'll improve things.

You're not going to transform an O-line in 8 days. You're not going to develop a new offensive scheme in 8 games. You're not going to hire and matriculate new coaches in 8 games.

As fugged up as this organization is, as bad as the product is, the complete dumbfoundedness of the coaching staff and a roster of mostly semi-pro caliber players.... and we have a thread about a chant going away.

Then there was the Chris Weinke season that started with an unbelievable win in Minnesota, followed by 15 straight losses. -

Darnold has won more games this season than either of those 2 combined with Carolina. -

No, wat I don't have is an emotional or financial investment in this team, which is a painfully obvious commonality with you guys. And, "improved" is a relative term and given the current O-line, an improvement doesn't amount to squat. -

Poll question: You want a rookie QB behind this O-line or Sam Darnold behind a decent O-line? -

Please cut CMC and let him go play for a contender. He doesn't deserve this. -

Burns done for the year with a broken foot. Here's a thought- since the team is already the laughing stock, bring in Urban Meyer. -

Tepper needs to build a 25,000 seat stadium and only allow Panther fans in. Then hope he can fill it with Panther fans. -

This O- line is so bad, Darnold's under pressure when he's on the bench. -

Dear Panther fans, your team sucks and it starts with your head coach an OC. You bought a QB, but didn't bother with the insurance policy of an O-line, didn't bother with a coaching staff that could devise an offense that works with a QB running for his life and assumed you'd be competitive with an all- pro RB. Blow it up and start over.... again. -

11/3 Game Thread, Canes @ Blackhawks
Anybodyhome replied to Harbingers's topic in Carolina Hurricanes
RBA shuffling the lines during the second intermission made all the difference going into the third period down a goal. It was a different team in the 3rd and defensively it was a huge move because the Canes played 8 minutes of the 3rd period short-handed.
