I've been killing time while cooking, eating, or when I can slip some playtime in. I posted some classical music earlier. I just found myself in the mood for something different today.

This makes me think the Panthers clown show(braintrust) thinks they are ready to compete no matter if it's true or not.

Except the needs at safety, corner, starting DE, other LB spots, and WR. Not everybody wants to re-sign him. If his production is due to the line, then get a younger and cheaper player to replace him. Use that extension money to bolster and re-sign Oline players instead.

There are no elite players on the Panthers roster at this time. There is a couple of good to great players and several with potential. Then there's a lot of filler. Peppers, Kuechly, and Smith are examples of former elite players that were Panthers. There isn't anyone close to that level on the current roster. Horn and Icky have a ton of potential and may end up elite one day, but they have a ton of growing to do to get there.

Does Fitt have anything to do with that decision though? From everything I've seen the HC hire is Tepper's and his wife's decision, not Fitt's. Is Fitt really nothing more than a glorified personal assistant that gets to play mouthpiece from time to time?

I've always felt Fitt was part of the problem and should have been replaced before starting the HC search. He was either making bad decisions if he had GM power or was nothing but Rhule's yes man.

Nope. Give the guy 2-3 years to see if he has it by surrounding him with weapons. If he hasn't by the end of the third season, then yeah, draft his replacement.
