Booo hooo its not FAIIIR to Compare Cam to Bryce rookie seasons.
Knaakedup replied to Pantha-kun's topic in Carolina Panthers
I never understood it. He was the first and only OC we had that created an offense around Cam, instead of forcing Cam into an offense they wanted. -
We should... Not try to acquire anyone and start offloading everyone that we can get something for.

Exactly. That Chud offense with two TE (including Shockey) played to his strengths and was awesome. Can't believe we literally never even attempted to get that going for him again. -
Does it matter though, either way it’s not a guy I would want around
-
They also told him to stay home today. Not the guy we want

Yeaaaah I’m not sure about this one. you know how you can watch QBs and just see that they have “it”? I haven’t seen a single play from him that’s given me that feeling. He looks scared and timid. like, I KNEW he was not even remotely going to come close to the final play of the game. Wasn’t shocked at all about the sack. maybe it’s the coaching? Maybe it’s him. But I catch some glimpses of CJ and AR, and they have “it” by the gallons.

There’s nothing to talk you back into. This coach is outdated. The GM has made every wrong move possible. Everything is broken. Only way to fix this is to blow it up and see what a new coach/GM duo can pull out of BY on the rookie contract. GM - trading up for Corral while missing on Sam Howell. Sitting here with Burns wanting a top 3 DE contract while producing at the lowest tier. Zero WR’s to allow us to throw beyond 10 yards. everything is fuged lol

I don’t know how much more Frank play calling I can stomach. This is horrible. It’s the same 3 plays over and over again.

This right here is the thing. If we had any eye for available talent for cheap to replace DJ Moore we would have acquired him for absolutely nothing. Now, here we are with a middle of the pack DE wanting top 3 DE money, no true #1 WR, and wondering how we got here. It’s embarrassing when the message board can see the writing on the wall before the GM does.

I have some sad realizations to bring here, there's a 0% chance we will be .500 at the trade deadline. Looking at the schedule there is one, maybe two games we have a chance at - Bears and Falcons. Even then I won't be surprised if we come out of that on the losing side. The problem with some people saying "you want to fire someone after 3 games? that's ridiculous", is yes, yes I absolutely do. You can just see that he doesn't have what it takes, it's the wrong hire and the quicker we get out from this the quicker we can get back to being respectable.

Honestly, the way to go here might be to dump Reich midseason and let Evero take command to see what he's got in him. Get Brown operating the offense and see what the difference looks like. If its night and day, then that answers the questions and we proceed with them without having to do a full coaching staff rebuild. Fit still has to go though.

It won't be the primary game on. The red rifle gets relegated to the multi view on the secondary TV for YoutubeTV. That allows me to occasionally glance at the train wreck without having to listen to it as well.

What record gets Reich fired?

Don’t know about that. If this continues the way it has been, I wouldn’t be shocked to see him ousted. The fan base is not in a good place at the moment. -

We have a very bad habit of retaining players, staff members, etc. for entirely too long. I don’t know if it’s ego, stubbornness, mix of both, but it would keep me engaged if I saw they were self-aware of their mistakes and made moves to course correct. I look at the Cardinals a few years ago (granted, it hasn’t fully panned out for them lol) when they drafted Rosen round 1. They knew very quickly that wasn’t the right move and moved on immediately. The quicker we move on from Frank the quicker we might get someone here who knows how to work with Bryce the right way and reach his potential.
