  1. After watching Cam hold the ball with 1 hand and jump over D lineman for years, it's literally torturous to watch Bryce get lightly bumped and cough up the ball everytime.
  2. This is where im at. He has a low ceiling but there are certainly a lot worse QBs out there. We can do better for sure, but we will be stuck in this QB quagmire for a while. My guess is he will continue to look decent against bad teams, mediocre against avg teams, and bad against good teams.
  3. I feel like this franchise is the real life version of the movie major league.
  4. He's in over his head along with Bryce. Canales reminds me of a middle management yes man at a large corp. Rah rah BS figure head for dipshit tepper. Tepper has turned the panthers into a hedge fund. He makes money while fug8ng over the common man.
  5. This. The only reason he's still out there is the capital we spent to get him. He clearly doesn't have the physical gifts to be elite. He's a backup qb in this league. We will keep losing until there is no other choice but to sit him for good. Top 5 pick here we come.
  6. Great player obviously but his NFL "analysis" is horrible. He needs to just shut his hole. He gets away with all of his stupid opinions because everyone around him is literally scared of him. If he was actually challenged he would look like a fool.
  7. I think Morgan hit on some good players this draft (Tmac, Princly, Etienne) have already looked good, so I cant fault him there. If you exclude the most obvious problems (Tepper & Bryce) I think you give Morgan/Canales another year.
  8. My biggest issue is he doesn't have the tools to succeed in crunch time. When the defense is collapsing in on the QB the elite guys can take off running, or throw a laser 40yds downfield for a first down, or break a tackle to extend a play. Bryce will throw a wounded bird up for grabs, or get touched and fall down. He also seems scared to use his legs bc he knows he's one big hit away from being carted off the field. These are the reasons he gets happy feet in these moments, because he literally has no options. These factors give the opposing defense such a huge advantage. In college he could get away with it, but it was a huge oversight not to consider these factors when we mortgaged our future for this guy. He's a borderline starter in this league. That's what we have. I'll say this for him, he's not the worst QB we've had here, but he's not close to being what we need if the goal is to create a winning franchise.
  9. 7-29 during his panthers tenure. The only stat that truly matters. He's proven he can beat some of the worst teams in the league and rack up stats during garbage time. If you watch the games it's obvious we will never be competitive against teams with elite quarterbacks.
  10. He needs to be more of a running threat imo to be good enough to keep around. When the pocket collapses like it did on that last drive his azzhole clenches up and he looks to take a sack.
