  1. Honestly its so bad and getting so much national attention from players and personel it's embarrassing. It is all over my twitter feed from national reporters and entities.
  2. Yeah 100% agree, fortunately other than the DL fire, which I don't really know was on the DL coach for our containment issues on 3rd down, these were all solid fires. Wish there was a way for us to get Eric Washington back for the D-Line, even tho he was horrific at DC.
  3. as much as i and the rest of the forum hates Hurney he evaluates QBs 20 times better than Fatt Rhule ever could in his dreams. Yeah Teddy Bridgewater wasn't amazing but he would have been the VASTLY superior choice over the poo show we went with this year. He also wanted Herbert.
  4. LOL YOU PROVED ME RIGHT HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA $41,526,705 is the 41 million number before effective cap you moron. BAHAHA The $28.9 million number is after the effective cap if all remaining players which we haven't signed were on vet min contracts. This is hilarious, gawd damn you're dumb.
  5. Are you dumb, stupid, or slow? The league year isn't over yet for any cap to be carried over WOW Like, can you not read math either? Simple math shows you its not included and I even included it my post for you. I bet you go around telling folks the vaccine doesn't work because, like Trump said, the US education system failed to teach you math.
  6. Yoooooo this man has a steelers sb ring in his avatar.. how tf do you block people like you could back in the day? Haven't had to block anyone since Happy Panther days.

Team Cap Space in 2022 based on top 51 contracts: Top 51: $179,183,726. Team Cap Space: $27,352,392 On March 16th the NFL 2022 League year will begin and our cap space of $13,650,000 will rollover to 2022. I literally said this in my OP so either you have reading comprehension issues or you need to learn to google.
  8. Its pretty clear you have no idea how void years work. I wouldn't open my mouth if i were you and remove all doubt you're an idiot.
  9. If we were balancing your or mine checkbook sure, but the NFL doesn't work that way anymore, its monopoly money now.
  10. Some contracts that we can work on to bring this years cap number down further: Shaq Thomas can be cut for 5.8 Million in cap relief, or restructured (more likely) to also save us 6 million this year. McCaffery can be restructured to give us another 8 million in additional space. AJ Bouye can be cut to give us another 3.5 Million in space Pat Eflien can be restructured or cut for 2.4 million in space. Cam Irving can be cut to give us another 2 million in space as well. Last, but certainly least likely, Morgan Fox would create an additional 3 million in space. He was one of our most consistent players this year and did work so if anything look for a restructure if anything there. All in all, that is an additional 21 million in cap space that we can create if needed. That's not even mentioning Darnolds contract if we are able to pay some... err, most of his guarantee and ship him or if its possible to give him voided years on an extension as well (I don't know how preferable or possible that possibility even is). Something to keep in mind is that the NFL salary cap is jumping really really high in 2023 and teams know.
  11. Life sucks, yea but lets look at some financials to get an idea of how this off-season is about to go. In 2021 the Panthers operated with $51.6 Million dollars in dead cap and managed to finish the year with $13,653,336 Million in cap space as of today in 2021 of which it will all rollover to 2022. In 2022, the Panthers currently have have $27.4 Million in Cap space but they also don't have a full roster either for 2022 which realistically means they have $15.5 Million if they were to get to the minimum number of players on minimum contracts. They also will roll over that $13.7 million from 2021 into 2022 to give them $41 Million in cap space before filling up their roster, which at best will leave us with $29.2 Million in Cap space. Now, here is where things get interesting, in 2023 and 2024 the Panthers have $110 Million in Cap Space and $198 Million in Cap Space respectively. Samir is one of the best when it comes to using void years in contracts, I think we could realistically be looking at a very action packed off-season due to those void years and the amount of space we will allocate to players this year and spread the cap hit out to future years. While we will have 40 million it will likely feel like 90 million with the moves we will be making. Players still have to want to play for us tho. Dead money in 2022 is not horrific, but not great. After Haasan and Paradis' contracts void at the start of the league year we will be at $19,300,000 in Dead cap in 2022 and currently scheduled to have none in 2023, the Panthers WILL void the hell out of contracts and we will be fine, especially when you look at the Saints and their situation they are in, they are effectively $74 MILLION DOLLARS OVER the salary cap for 2022 and they will be just fine. 12. I said this poo all year before the draft and was told I was crazy and that the QB position was being overvalued... sigh.
  13. Go look at what Vrabel did with the most injuries in NFL HISTORY.
  14. Well kids, a hedge fund manager decided not to hire a consulting firm with NFL experience to help lead him to finding a new GM THEN HC and instead he fired his COTY-winning head coach and went on an interviewing spree with one of the most illiterate GMs in NFL history. Instead of looking for NFL experience in a candidate, he hired a man that sweats like him and used to be just as much as an underachiever as a short order cook until eventually conning enough people to up his lot in life. Instead of paying his questionable hire a fair contract, he gave a man with almost zero quality wins against quality opponents in his life a once in a lifetime contract with total and complete control of the roster. Finally, he doubled down on his mistakes and we now have one player with NFL talent on the offensive line, zero players with NFL talent at QB, zero players with starting NFL talent at TE, and a wine glass worth over 60 million dollars playing RB while the rookie at 3% of his cost was our most effective player on offense this season. All these players were hand picked by our owners pet with no NFL experience.
  15. He would have to have been a short order cook and sweat his ass off to be a good fit here. Don't forget its not about how good of an NFL coach you are, Tepper has got to want to suck the skin off his johnson for him to get the job in Carolina ! #biblethump
  16. https://www.tankathon.com/nfl Says we clinched the 6th spot. We really need the Eagles 17th and 19th selection for our 1st and 4th rounder to even have a chance at next season.
  17. Honestly, if that is Teppers plan then I'm all for it. No point in making a new coach deal with this dumpster fire next year with no QB and no O-line. Make Rhule ride out this poo storm he created in pursuit of the #1 Overall Pick in 2023 and get your QB in Year 4 of the rebuild with a solid NFL worthy coach. Strip Rhule of roster control because he is a bafoon, but if you're Tepper and you think another year of Rhule gets you the #1 overall pick and a fresh start for a new coach with solid cap space its actually not terrible.
  18. His character and this team was put to the test against Washington, coming off a win, at Home, and failed to ever take control of the game longer than a drive then it was tested again, coming off a blowout loss, at home to Atlanta and the same result, losing to talent deficient teams without ever having control of the game. What does this team do with another year? The sAme poo. The same poo this year and last year, dumb poo.
