  1. He was a rookie so you can expect that in his first season. This year you should see a lot of more improvement from him. Let's hope he can keep the dropped balls down to a minimum and a lot more of going up top on defenders in end zone. I'm happy for Benji and I think he can be great in Carolina!
  2. It's really pure speculation and Gettleman won't make this move until draft day if he does go that route. I think the Panthers will stay put at 25 and hope someone like Peat or Flowers fall in their laps. The only way Gettleman makes this deal if WR or OT start flying off the board if that's who they are targeting in the first round. But I think we are going to stand still at 25.
  3. Just know for a fact if Perriman goes in the teens Devante Parker will definitely fall.
  4. What's funny is that I can definitely see Devante Parker falling to 25. If this could happen it could set Cam up with a dynamic duo on the outside.
  5. It's definitely a low risk high reward move. But Martin is going into his 4 year and he hasn't really stuck with a team that can maximize his potential. If it's one thing I know, that's Gettleman knows how to find talent. Trust me, if Gettleman didn't think we can use him and maximize his potential, I don't think we would've claimed him off waivers. I think Martin is going to stick here and potentially be our RT of the future. If not, he will definitely be serviceable depth.
  6. This was a good move by Gettleman. I liked Jonathan Martin when he was coming out of Stanford. He hasn't really found a place to stick yet and the Panthers can potentially be the right fit for him. What he does well is he is a absolute mauler in the run game. If anyone knows the Panthers, they know we want to establish the run game first. This was a cheap move and we don't have to reach for a tackle in the draft now. This move could pay off big time when TC rolls around. I'm officially on the Jonathan Martin bandwagon!
  7. I wouldn't mind Perriman at 25 but I think he is going to shoot up draft boards. I think Devante Parker ends up falling and lands at 25.
  8. I don't know about this, but I don't think it 's too farfetched for the Panthers to go WR. I can bet you that if we do go WR at 25, I definitely see us taking a Tackle in round 2 or 3.
  9. The best analysis I have seen on Landon Collins so far. Scouting report: As a coverage safety, Collins isn’t simply Mark Barron 2.0. He can mirror tight ends in man coverage and is strong enough to stick with them when they get physical in their routes. He’ll struggle some against quicker slot wide receivers, though, and teams shouldn’t rely on him in that role. He’s much better when he can play deep coverage and react to the ball and break on it. While he’ll have to improve his instincts, Collins has the athleticism to cover for it for now. He will bite on the play action, though. Against the run, Collins is really good at flying up the field and making a tackle. He rarely misses taking down the ball carrier and has good technique on his tackles. Was utilized on Alabama’s coverage teams.
  10. I completely agree with you on this. Scouts was saying he coverage skills wasn't as good and he didn't run as fast as expected at the combine. He played pretty good last season. A notable game that he really stood out in was against the Broncos when he had two picks and one returned for a TD last season on primetime.
  11. Collins is a better overall prospect then Mark Barron and Ha Ha Clinton Dix coming out. Ha Ha also had a pretty good season with Green Bay to note . But Landon Collins has the tools to become a elite safety in the NFL. He can play the run well, and he has the skills to play cover two high, and can improve on his man to man coverage with more coaching. He is young and physical also has the ability to be a ballhawk on the Panthers. If Collins can come in and play at a high level, he will definitely replace Harper in our secondary and make our defense ELITE.
  12. The QB play has been questionable the most for him. Matt Cassel, Christian Ponder, and a rookie in Teddy Bridgewater will only get you so far. If the Panthers can some how land Greg Jennings that my friend would beneficial to our offense and him. Cam will get him the ball often, I'm not saying Cam is going to be Aaron Rodgers, but I think Jennings could do big things in our offense with a better QB he has played with in a while.
  13. He is definitely a significant upgrade over Cotchery at this point.
  14. It's a giving fact the Panthers will find a running back in this draft with the departure of Deangelo . Stewart hasn't had a healthy season in a while so it isn't realistic to expect him to carry the entire load this season. I would love to have Todd Gurley on our team since he is from the 252. If he is there at 25 he definitely will be the BPA at that pick. I still believe we go OT in the first round but I wouldn't be upset at all if we took Todd Gurley. It wouldn't be a value pick but he would be a heck of a weapon in the run game and it gives us the flexibility to move on from Stewart in 2016.
  15. I think Alan Ball will probably end up starting on the outside with Norman. I think Bene goes back to the slot.
  16. I'm from the 252 the same area that Todd Gurley grew up. I would be happy to have Gurley on our squad.
