I think YTTV is pretty well positioned right now. It's basically cable tv for people who don't want to pay cable tv prices. I'd guess that the "sports progamming only" market isn't huge. The problem for YTTV is if any of this stuff becomes exclusive, or if ESPN/Fox decide to jack up whatever carriage prices they're currently paying.

As a UNCC alum, I see parallels between the Hornets and 49ers. In the 90's, both were good (not great) teams. They weren't title contenders, but you expected them to be in the playoffs/tournament. And they've both been sh#t shows for the last 20 years. It's been fun watching 49ers hoops come back to life. Maybe someday that will happen with the Hornets.

The most obvious comparison for Bryce is Trey Lance, based on where he was drafted, and what SF paid to get him. He got 2 seasons (8 games). Of course, they had a loaded team and no time to wait. And a good front office. What are the odds we find a Brock Purdy? But if we've learned anything about Tepper, it's that he's not a "sunk costs" guy.
