  1. I hope they are as bad as you say on the defensive side, but my paranoia keeps me from believing wholeheartedly. :) I just hope we get the run game (the running back portion of it) going this week. Btw, the Barb took his cue from Gunther Prien, the guy who snuck into Scapa Flow and sank a British Battleship.
  2. I am not so certain that is what I want. If the Bucs win, it will give confidence to a young qb. A TB team with a confident young qb might end up being more of a threat to us this year than the Saints are. So I am good with whomever wins the Saints/TB game.
  3. If Luke has to miss a game, this is one of the ones to miss. Houston's qb problems make them much less of an offensive threat. He needs to be at full strength when the Aint's come to Town.
  4. Fwiw, only one guy said something really stupid. Here was Texan fan response to him. Yeah, it is just one guy. Here is what one of their fans said in response. Most of their fans seem fairly realistic, but I do think this will be a tough game for us.
  5. Struggling kicker with a long kick that only gives you a one point lead and three minutes left with a not so good defense? That seems like a no brainer in going for it.
  6. Philly's d has picked it up this half. The int got things going for them, gave the offense an easy score. And they have held Atlanta to a pair of fg's. Still anyone's game though.
  7. Should have been another pick there. They got a little lucky.
  8. Well, Matt Ryan trying to get Philly back in the game.
  9. I sure hope Tillman stays healthy this year. If he does, we could have a really good secondary.
  10. Three offensive linemen got mentioned. Can't help but like that.
  11. With the exception perhaps of quarterback, no one player will make or break an offense.
  12. The entire body has to be past the line of scrimmage as well as the ball. Doesn't matter if the feet are down or not. http://static.nfl.com/static/content/public/image/rulebook/pdfs/11_Rule8_ForwardPass_BackPass_Fumble.pdf Note: It is a forward pass from beyond the line of scrimmage if the passer’s entire body and the ball are beyond the line of scrimmage when the ball is released, whether the passer is airborne or touching the ground. The penalty for a forward pass thrown from beyond the line is enforced from the spot where the ball is released.
