Fwiw, I hope Tepper and Morgan take a look around the league and see that chasing qb's is generally stupid. And I hope they learn some lessons. Big trades for established qb's can end up like the Cleveland Deshaun Watson or Jets Rodgers situations. Cleveland especially gave up a lot and got nothing. Jameis Winston is better now than Watson. Tanking has never worked. See Dolphins this year. Trading up for a qb you want is very risky. You give up to much and the odds of getting a great qb are slim. It worked with Mahomes/KC, but it doesn't work often. Best to draft whatever player comes to you and not make crazy trades to move up.

Fwiw, we are averaging 4.7 ypc, which puts us in the top half of the league. It's one of the few things we are actually good at. But when you are behind by a lot of points, running games tend to go away.
