We really just need a couple of first downs to dramatically improve our chances to win this one. But we are going to be predictable here. Didn't need the penalty.

Had a family lunch event today, so I was listening to the game on the radio. Delhomme didn't have an issue with scheme, but he said that the entire offense looks out of sync. Receivers and qb just aren't communicating well. And I agree with him. It could be a result of new qb and new coaching assistants, but if we don't fix it, its going to be a long season. Not every team we play is going to be as bad on offense as the Saints are.

Need to line Brown up at tight end. That was a heck of a catch.

Case in point, Joe Mixon of Cincy is only in for 73% of Bengal offensive snaps, but actually has almost 30 more actual snaps than CMC does. The numbers by the OP speak more to the inefficiency of our offense than the wear and tear on CMC.

The stats may be a little skewed because we are in the bottom five of the league in number of snaps. Not much point in rotating when you are constantly getting three and outs.

Baker is better than Darnold. At this point, Darnold with have three or four interceptions. And interceptions outweigh just about any other stat. Not saying we should keep him.

We have been 1-15 twice, so no. Might get there by the end of the season though, if things don't improve. I have to admit this reminds me a little of the 2001 season, where we had a series of close games and that we found a way to lose. And then the team kind of gave up and got blown out the last two games as the team gave up.

Not sure I would say it yet. Horne has still only played five games. And some said the same thing regarding Ridley and DJ Moore but eventually, taking DJ turned out to be the right choice.

It seems to me that with last years qb picks, Fields, Lance and the NYJ pick are all three whiffs, although that could change. Still not sure about Lawrence either.

The coaching staff has little trust in the passing game right now. Not sure if its him, the oline, the receivers, or all three. Or perhaps the staff is just incompetent.

At some point this year, Chicago's coaching staff is going to have to start letting fields throw the ball.

We blitz a lot. We just aren't very good at it.

Mayfield may not be our future qb, but in Rhule's time here, we have went thru four qb's, (Cam, Darnold, Mayfield, and Bridgewater). Mayfield and Bridgewater have both won on other teams they played for. But Rhule's team have looked progressively worse, regardless of who is under center. We know who has to go.

Well, that is probably ball game. I don't see us stopping them.
