What's the deal with Gonzales?

I would think a trade back but it all depends how the draft plays out. If a player is there late and we are really high on him I think this staff goes for it

We are desperately trying to get additional draft picks and this is part of it I believe. Put it out there that the Colts want to come up and see if Houston bites. Can't hurt.

I'm not going to believe it until it happens. I think he was a really good college player and deserved all the accolades. As a NFL QB I will hold my breath every time he gets hit.

I just don't believe the hype. This is media driven for Young. This group of coaches are not going to risk their jobs for what would be the smallest Qb in the league. One bad decision thinking he can get away from a D lineman or linebacker and he is out with an injury. He will not have the time he did in college to throw. Young is not even built frame wise like Murray or Wilson. It's Stroud all the way. I am a devoted Panther fan and have been since 1995, so I will support whatever decision.

I would love to be in each of the Qb visits this week. All 4 are to come to Charlotte this week I think. You would think that each one would be questioned pretty in depth. After all the meetings a conscenious decision will be made.

I think he would give a rookie Qb a fit wanting the ball. Don't think he would be a good for us now. Good player for the right team

We need to let things settle down before we go out and sale the farm to move up. It's a lot of time between now and the draft.

I wish we could hear the interviews, because then we could get a feel for how the guys are in preparation, studying tape, attitude, etc.

Stoud is the only one I would move to 1 for. All others have something that I couldn't get comfortable with.

Wouldn't that be the role Josh McCown plays in our plans? If we go Levis or Richardson we will need a good mentor. A McCown as a coach and someone like Jacoby B to start the year.

Dallas could be in wings for Payton if Quinn and Moore get other coaching jobs. They move McCarthy up and hire Payton and Fangio.
