Mike Kaye: Panthers might start Bryce Young final 7 games
CPF4LIFE replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Which is absolutely why im not playing him if I'm calling the shots. Everybody outside the organization thinks this team is dumb and incompetent as it gets so why should we make it easier for them if they think they're so much smarter than us? If they think bryce is salvageable then give us reasonable compensation for him and they can try and turn him into a great player and see how that goes. Funny part is....when they fail the media is still gonna come for us anyway because the narrative will be he was already ruined. Lol -

They aren't miserable and can see themselves on the stat sheet. -

And sign somewhere else in the off season.... -
I think his ability to run gives you a new element and extends drives. Dalton is one of the best in the league right now at downfield throws so the passing would regress a little but I'm not saying fields can't make throws. Dj moore had one of his best seasons with fields so I think he could also get the ball to Johnson. Overall I would rather watch fields than Bryce.

Would You Get a QB in 2025 draft, or not??
CPF4LIFE replied to Hoenheim's topic in Carolina Panthers
The thing about trading is i just don't like simply throwing it around like it's gonna be that easy. For that to happen a team is gonna a need a good reason to trade up and if the draft isn't rich like people say then why would we expect this to happen? Who is trading up for anything other than an qb? Also trades don't happen like that most of the time because the value is just too much. They would have to be willing to give up next years first at minimum based off our projection then you would go from there on more picks. Unless it's a generational player it's not happening. -

Maturity is taking your personal feelings out of it and judging based off what you see on the field. Not doing this is what's get a lot of folks looking foolish. -

Hell no to lock and Rudolph. I would rather just keep Dalton. -

NOPE. I thought it was strong. Just couldn't dwell on it cuz we had no first round pick and bryce young. I was saying the overall opinion is that its weak every year not my personal opinion. -

Lol...its a weak class every year. It's only strong after everybody sees some results. Thats thr logic everybody follows now but won't say it out loud. -

What possibly makes you think ward is a real option and everybody else is hit or miss?? Deion being shedeurs father doesn't make him a worse prospect. -

I dont know for sure if Deion is gonna orchestrate where his son gets drafted and I think it's to early to think about that specifically. All I know right now is that if you are a team that needs a qb it will be hard to pass up on Sanders. It's too risky, especially a team thats passed up on multiple qbs the last couple years. You always take a qb when the opportunity is there cuz you never know when it won't be. Not to mention the FA route doesn't look good for the future, there is no Kurt cousins, baker or geno available soon. -

They could still take a qb first and use rest of the picks on defense and FA agency money. It's not like they have to spend on offense this off season outside of Johnson if they even choose to keep him. -
I agree, I would rather see him than Bryce again.
-
Or just the best defensive player available. If there isn't a edge worth that spot then i dont want to reach, thats not how you operate. We need blue chip talent period preferably on defense at all positions. Take the best guy who will make a instant impact or trade down if you have offers.
-
And that's good enough, racing for number 1 will always be dumbfounded and the reason why you can't keep in players around.

This organization fuging sucks. I hate this team
CPF4LIFE replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
Simply losing is not gonna force a QB change because that's not why bryce was benched in the first place. -
Were gonna end up getting the number 1 pick anyway because of how bad our defense is. Dont know why people can't see that.
-
How bout no

I think he is a young coach learning to be a HC and doing the best with what he has been given. I still stand by the notion of if you bring a OC/QB guru in as HC you have to let that guy bring in his own QB. Bryce nor Dalton are on his watch. Until Canales can get the pieces to shape his vision it's just hard to judge.
-
I mean that's all subjective based on the teams and roster situations. We already have a solid rb plus another guy on a stupid contract. One of those guys could have been selected to provide help when needed and not be on injury reserve to start the year and it wouldnt have costed multiple high picks to do it. Thats the point. Picks could have been used in other areas. Far as Brooks goes i like him, yes he can still be good...be a nice solid back for us...but for that pick to make sense he is gonna have to be substantially better than even chuba to make that worth it. Thats just had i look at it.
