I think they had Donavan Smith and Devin Smith, Preston Smith targeted and they all fell off. WR run happened after the Shaq pick toward the end of the first and Gettles felt the pressure and made the trade. Too much value in the third to do this IMO but I do like Funchess better than a TJ Clemmings or a Jalen Strong. What I wonder about is could we have picked a Dorsett-D Smith-Perriman(or one of these targeted guys) and traded up to get Shaq Thompson in the second? Oh well you cant retro draft while your in the moment.

Compared to last season this IS a step up in class as we have seen Ginn have a decent contribution as a WR his first run with the Panthers. Ginn as the end round guy instead of Cotchery makes a heck of a difference. Dwan may be the Huddles most expendable player but he makes his plays count when he is in there and would be a big loss to replace him for equal dollars. I have achillies Tendonitis with heel spurs that look like forks going through both tendons(left and right legs) It sucks bc i love playing basketball but this is how I got this...playing bball on concrete courts all day and night. Better seek treatment bc if it tears your getting a cadaver tendon and about a year of physical therapy learning to walk again.
