  1. If we weren’t in contention I doubt they bring him back, but since we are, they did. This makes 15 weeks since the injury. Let him practice this week, see how he responds. If he feels good, let him play week 18 at Tampa unless we manage to clench this week then you hold him for the playoffs. (I had to re-read that several times because it’s so weird to be talking about holding out guys for the playoffs haha)
  2. The original hope was that he was just raw, and with some coaching he could blossom into a big time playmaker. Turns out he’s not just raw, he’s got no fundamentals or mentals of any kind really. You keep him as long as he’s cheap and try your best to coach him up no matter how futile it may seem. When the time comes you cut him loose.
  3. It’s usually easy to pick a favorite from our rookie class but this year I just can’t. Obviously TMac is living up to his top-10 selection and that’s great but there’s something about getting production from the mid-late rounds. Toss in the UDFA kicking phenom and it’s a good day to be a Panthers fan.
  4. As long as he cracks 1k more than once in his career, I’ll take it. 17 games or not.
  5. TMac needs just 76 more yards to break 1k, and only 9 more than that to break the Panthers Rookie receiving yards record set by Kelvin Benjamin. If he can haul in at least 45 yards in each of the next 2 games he’ll have it.
  6. You can’t play half a season and win a season long award. It was a miracle Peppers won DROY after getting suspended the final 4 games. In no way shape or form should that QB be in the conversation.
  7. The game itself is barely watchable. No one has played a serious down in the Pro Bowl since Sean Taylor (RIP). It should be treated like All-American team in college and let the skills competition/Flag football game be the attraction.
  8. Right, the context was what would DB need to do as a Panther to get in the pro bowl. Again, I know he deserves it. It’s not a question. He’s most likely the best DT in the league.
  9. I’m not familiar with the escalators in his deal. I know they get paid something like 40k - 90k depending on winning or losing.
  10. We all know he deserves it but it was also pointed out that he’d need to post 7 or more sacks prior to selection in order to get the recognition. Hes got 5. He’ll probably end up with 6-7. Doesn't matter tho, we know what we got.
  11. Any expansion will require not 1 but at least 2 teams to balance the conferences and would eventually need to be as high as 8 teams in order to keep divisions even. Adding a single team would be a scheduling nightmare. It’s hard enough filling 32 rosters with NFL level talent. Watering that down even further would hurt the product. Id rather see a D-league system to develop more players.
  12. This is the reason. After that Super Bowl in the rain a while back, they look at Domes unless it’s in a favorable climate. A Super Bowl brings so much money to a city it’s ridiculous.
  13. You mean to tell me it’s possible to draft a good player in the 2nd round?
  14. While they were in zone… Ransom made that play. He was watching Baker the whole way. He flat ignored Evans’ change of direction and followed the ball. Just great great stuff from the rookie.
  15. He’s gonna be a baller I can feel it.
  16. Will quickly become a fan favorite. We’ve got our franchise kicker.
  17. Whoever our line coach is needs an extension a hand shake and a hug.
  18. No doubt. Bryce played within himself and made enough plays to give us a chance. For some reason this isn’t enough of a pat on the back for the Bryce guzzlers.
  19. No turnovers, a couple TDs… a respectable game manager performance. Team win. Why do you folks need it to mean more than it does?
  20. This is undoubtedly true. The kids have really performed well. Almost all of them even the rdfa kicker has been a cold blooded killer. Hats off to the fo for the draft. Good stuff.
