  1. Money matters, and six figures, especially doubled, is a big deal for most of these kids. If invested correctly, it can set them up for a comfortable retirement in later years.
  2. I mean, I get why the media and some NFL and Carolina fans are saying that we don't have a real chance, but as many Huddlers should know, we won't know what we really have in this team until probably late September or early October at the earliest. And I'm not trying to be a homer, I'm just looking at things historically. Obviously I'm also looking at Bryce's "palatable" improvement the last half of last season (including being the catalyst for hanging with and nearly beating the Super Bowl participants), and the new additions that we've acquired overall. I'm also looking at the beginnings of a culture change--even if perceptibly subtle--to some degree indeed may take a foothold if things start falling the right way. But, overall, I'm still cognizant of the realization that things could just go south and that perhaps that Bryce could revert and flop, or that D & D (Dan and Dave) are not the answer, but I still am not ready to say "we're far away." Hell we could be close, albeit with growing pains, but even if we're on the course to bring legit in 2026, then guys like Ramsey would be welcome additions this season. That's just my take on it. I don't think we'll know that we're far away until some point in the season. If we can compete in the South...who knows?
  3. You'd think that after his Super Bowl performance all that talk would've died, but I guess that it's super easy to hold on to draft position bias.
  4. Completion rate, yards, and 20 TDs aren't really black and white stats. He was 7th in total QBR. He has the 7th highest pay per season. He's also getting paid for his total body of work, not just last season's stats (where the entire team was obviously down due to injuries).
  5. Yep. My son is almost 6'4", and 220 is a good size. 240+ is suspect for most.
  6. 6'4 and 220 is a decent size. I guess some of you want a fatty. All he has to do to get stronger is get in the weight room.
  7. Nine to Eleven Wins. Bank on it.
  8. I sacrifice greatly, even to this day, and should have that kind of money by the third quarter of 2026. I saved money to free up my time, and by next year, I won't be spending money to save time, I should have all the time in the world to figure out how to spend (and invest) even more money. Not tryna preach, but I have been taught to make Proverbs 13:22 a guiding princple. God has blessed me to be in the company of some influential people. As a result, I'm on my way to legitimate generational wealth.
  9. You gotta think big, bro. That being said, there are much better and more meaningful ways to drop 10K.
  10. That's basically it. Some here talking about this and that. At this point in his career, teams already know what they're getting. The first round stuff has long past. He's been a solid player nonetheless, even for us. But there always comes a time when age begins to catch up with you. We're obviously making the room younger, and that's the priority as it should be. Joining a contender as a good rotational piece is probably the best thing that he can do if he wants to make an impact and maybe even get a ring.
  11. This guy will always be the original T-Mac. But if Tetairoa wants to be the second T-Mac in sports, I guess that will work too. I may just have to get used to Nalo.
  12. This had more to do with T-Mac and his positional value and the dynamics of this draft than Walker. Just accept it. There's really not too much to see here.
  13. No, he just needs to leave women young enough to be his daughters and granddaughters alone.

  15. Like the article says, Hunter is a receiver and has to cover receivers. FWIW, if you believe Hunter, then there's more to Nalo than what some think. "They definitely don't give you enough credit, because you were definitely the toughest receiver I ever played. I always tell everybody that. Ask me, I'll be like, 'It's not no receiver that ever gave me problems,' but the toughest receiver I ever played against was you. You do everything. You got the speed, you got the hands. Jump, like you said, you're tough. You're not going to let nobody get you out of your game. Definitely the toughest I played against." Hunter may cover better receivers in the pros, but just the fact that he praised McMillan should be a pretty good indicator that, at the very least, T-Mac has a relatively high floor and maybe even higher ceiling in the NFL. https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/news/travis-hunter-love-panthers-rookie-tetairoa-mcmillan
  16. PFF ain't. Morgan gave him a first round grade. On an off note, the draft was deep at EDGE, so it stands to reason that Scourton would be better than his draft spot. The same is true for Princely Umanmielen.
  17. 100K sends a message. The DC reportedly makes 1.6 mil.
  18. I'm sorry about that, but you obviously are taking it in stride. Keep pounding!
  19. Ulcerative Colitis does not make you feel good. Look it up.
  20. Ulcerative Colitis is not CTE.
