    Maybe I read that wrong…I meant Ericson is not fast or quick. He secures the ball for sure which is much better than than not and the heads up play with the live-ball recovery was crucial. There’s just no threat of him gaining more than 10 yards on returns.

    I think we’re scheming around the line we have. I will give Brady credit for that as well Darnold but mostly CMC. That one hand grab he made today to get a first was all-pro. We should collectively pray for his continued good health throughout the season.

    Good win boys…defense was downright nasty. OL shaky but held for the most part. Some good play calls but also some predictable red zone stuff. ST still a joke and kicking is a liability. Other than the bonehead pitch, I’m impressed with how Darnold looked. Lotta zip on the ball with good accuracy
