WTF?  We already had Justin Hartwig!  At least the Jarret pick filled a need, right?

Hartwig was a stud in Tennessee, but got hurt in 2006, his first year in Carolina.  And we also had Hangartner--Center was NOT a need that year.  Instead, we badly needed help at WR, TE, MLB, and SS.  And the entire right side of the offensive line needed an overhaul.

 

When Kalil was selected, half the Huddle was all "Do what???" and the other half just wanted to talk about Jarrett.
