He routinely makes plays in practice that would lead SportsCenter if there were cameras rolling. The camp’s gone twitter-crazy. DeAngelo Williams doesn’t do it, saying it was like “sending text messages to people you don’t know.” Coach John Fox has warned them not to write anything they’d regret, and to be smart. Otherwise, he doesn’t seem to care. It’s not his deal, but he’s not militant about it.

Wonder if people around here understand that twitter is just an addition to the camp coverage/write ups instead of a replacement? As soon as people get back, they write up what they see...but it's only been 2 damn days.

Stew is a pretty media/network savy dude.

He strikes me as a cat that would be making serious cash even if he wasn't in the NFL.

Social Networking is bringing him $$$'s with his record label I'm sure.

I agree... D seems so outgoing and I always see him smiling and joking... seems like he'd be the one to do that stuff.

Yeah that's what I meant, the Penn/Teller vibe of them.

I think Stew is a sweet kid like DW, just less into the media & seems uncomfortable talking to them.

Agreed. One ring would seal the deal. But I think smitty could close out his career with 800 yard seasons and still be in contention. I think 3 more 1,000+ seasons and he's a first ballot HOFer

I don't think anyone who blind sides their own teammate and breaks that teammate's face in the process will ever be first ballot. He will get in but I doubt any assortment of stats will be able to make it a first ballot deal.

I think that Smitty will end with comparable numbers to Michael Irvin....and he was a cokehead and got in on the first try. I guess those rings help though.
