Dog Friendly Swimming Holes

Does anyone know of any swimming holes around Charlotte that are dog friendly? Ive been to a few places but haven't really found one where I can have them off the leash and let them run around in the water.

Hey dude - we take out dog up to Ramsey Creek park in Cornelius. It's near the Rudder. There's a dog park there but if you drive down to where the water is, there's a little cove that's about knee deep.

I usually take my Aussie up to the mountains to run through creeks. Haven't really found many places around here

Ill have to check it out. My wife's parents live in Ormond and have a dog beach near them. I figure that might be cool too...except I imagine tons of bull sharks congregating there

I've got plenty of great places in the mountains. I can't seem to find a place locally that's good. I'll check out RC park.
