Miami Heat vs. San Antonio Spurs

Recommended Posts

I've seen Kobe play live and the guy does not radiate or personify cockiness at all. When he's playing, he's all business. If he hits a shot, he runs back on defense... If he gets fouled, he doesn't complain, he runs back on defense.

As where you have LBJ who hits a shot and he's got his little celebration to do lol.

And lol at MJ being cocky, that man was nothing but professional on the basketball court. Off it, he had some problems but on it he was nothing but professional.

As for those other guys, they were all great basketball players but trying to put them on MJ's, Kobe's, and LBJ's level is laughable.

LMAO dude just stop.

Also, I've said it before and I'll say it again...

I don't hate LBJ...

He's a great player and he's fun to watch but as a Hornets fan, I'm not going to pull for someone that has disrespected our team and our owner.

Not to mention they are a division rival.

I try to cut the 16 year olds some slack, but back in the day it used to be cool to be different. Now everyone has to latch on too the bandwagon of every great athlete.

I tend to go the other way.

That's just me.

There were so many things wrong with that last post that I don't even know where to start. I mean FFS you really just claimed that Kobe fuging Bryant doesn't complain about fouls or non foul calls???

He has before, but like LBJ?

Not even close... Only an LBJ homer would say otherwise. There haven't been articles written to Kobe like there have been to James asking him to stop complaining so much.

If you honestly think that Kobe complains more than LeBron, you might need to get your vision checked.

I thought Kobe never complained at all and was all business, now it's only he does it a little. Does calling the ref "a fuging fine young male" qualify as business like? What about punching a teammate?

Come on man. Let's not act as if Jordan didn't return the favor. It's well known that MJ doesn't like LBJ no matter how friendly they want to act with each other on live television. It's the New Alpha Lion vs Old Alpha Lion syndrome. Michael is still a fiery competitor at his age.

Jordan has eased up on that type of crap and actually said he didn't see LBJ even look at him (I believe).

He's taken the high road, yet LBJ disrespects the greats that have played before him saying they he rates himself as one of the all-time greats... I mean honestly, who says that besides Muhammad Al.

Let me just say, just because someone likes something popular does not mean they don't march to their own drum.   And vice versa.

What a game. The Heat held the Spurs to a combined 35 points in the second and fourth quarters but then gave up 35 in the third period alone. That is Championship D in the 2nd and 4th now they just need to be a little more consistent and Wade can't disappear for segments of the game at home like he did tonight.

    • Maybe a bit of a homer take but I can't give us a grade lower than A.   Freeling was arguably the best LT prospect in the draft.  His athletic ability is off the chart and at 6'7" that can move.  It was a no brainer pick.   Hunter's key word is Violence. Putting him next to Brown should scare an offensive coordinator. These two give Scourton and Phillips plenty of chances to get one on one opportunities. Brazzell, another tall receiver with sprinter speed.  Our WR room is filled with tall talented WR.  Brazzell is going to give us a WR that can take to roof off the defense.  Basically Jimmy Horn with size. W. Lee III has a nickname of the Blanket. (heard this on the Beleav podcast with J. Stewart)  What a great name.  A great value in the 5th round. Hecht A strong, fast and extremely smart center. Many had him listed as the best center in the draft.  He's most likely a starter sooner than later. Wheatley A good safety in round 5.  Someone who could see playing time.   Kuwatch  I love this pick.  At minimum he will be a key piece on special teams and with some good coaching he'll see some packages where he'll play.  His down piece is he doesn't stay up in the running game.  Good coaching will fix this.  He reminds me a bit of A.J. Klein.   All these picks were great value.  I believe everyone of them were graded higher than the pick we took them.   Dan Morgan is IMO doing a great job turning this team into a good team with great depth.
    • Moton is a class act.
    • Sure, that is possible. That’s what, an extra 55 yards a game on average and 7 more TDs? What if he’s just 15th?  I imagine they would extend him in that situation due to the belief that he’ll keep trending up. maybe a 3 year contract to prove he can be top 10? Sounds like a Tepper plan.
