Welcome home, Hugo!

Had a great time at the Hornets Open House this evening. Plenty of fans there lined up to show Hugo LOTS of love. It was beautiful to see how a purple and teal bug suit took people back to their childhood (spoiler alert: It's not the same guy in the suit folks). Grown men were gushing like they'd just ran into their best friend from jr high. People were hugging him, double high fiving him, two guys lifted him up. There is no mistaking the love affair with Hugo and the fans. The kids were all super excited too!

Got off a couple of snaps before we were all told "no photography allowed!!" oops!

My 13 year old daughter (who's been to quite a few Bobcats games) listens to Drex & Maney on KISS 95.1. I told her that Hugo the Hornet was in the studio with them. Her response? "Who the heck is Hugo the Hornet?"

Kids these days.

What kind of father raises their kids without schooling them on the history of Charlotte NBA basketball?
