B/R predicts we sign Deng

Recommended Posts

So let me get this straight. We hate B R and put no weight in what they have to say when its something negative, especially bout the Panthers.

And when they "predict" something positive we jump on it like its actually going to happen.

Its either credable or its not. Can't go back and forth to suit needs.

I understand MKG is important to the defense, but having him able to come in and play defense against the 2nd units of another team would be huge.   Unlike it seems everyone, I am not sold on Taylor.  So we need, imo, a more solid backup even if we keep MKG.  May as well get Deng (if reasonable).  Sign Deng, sign McRoberts, and maybe bring in Sessions or someone to backup Kemba.  Done.

So besides defense (which MKG already plays well), what does Deng bring to this team? 44% of his shots come in the paint, that would have to change if we signed him as the paint is Al's area.

Not to mention, in Chicago Deng was known as the glue guy. Well that sounds awfully familiar. How many glue guys does a team need?

He has pedestrian shooting percentages and he struggles to create his own shot. He does bring defense and rebounding to the game but so does MKG.

Deng is essentially a one-dimensional player that would be awesome for a team like the Spurs. However for a team that lacks perimeter scoring, he provides nothing that we don't already have.

I said not to give him $20 million dollars per year and obviously if we would have we wouldn't even be in contention to sign a player like Luol Deng...

So how bout you take that ego of yours and drop it in the trash.

You did not say $20!!!! Wow. Wth

The most we were talking was $15-16.

Just zip it.

Take that ego of urs in up it your ass.

Bet if we sign Deng, you'd have the exact opposite to say about him.

Whatever you say bud...

I'd go to the doctor if I were you because it seems as if you are slightly aggressive toward everyone on this board, a chronic liar, and have a low basketball iq... that could be pretty dangerous.

Lol. I believe you're the one who need to. Lying straight through your teeth. Remember you played soccer for D1 and worked for the Panthers?

Just keeping piling lies up on top of one another. Pretty soon it'd be taller than the Twin Towers.

Here's a few other tidbits...

Prior to trading Deng the Bulls were 10-13, the month after trading Deng the Bulls went 11-7.

Deng also turned down a 10 mil (per year) extension from Chicago. He's probably looking for around $12 million per year.

If you're going to sign Deng for $12m per year why not just offer Hayward a max or Parsons 13m per year. It makes no sense.
