Cavs Now Offering Wiggins In Deal For Love

Recommended Posts

I mean, the Cavs with Love are absolutely better than the Cavs with Wiggins- he is just too young to come in right away and play like an All-Star, we saw that last year at Kansas.  And my god, Love is about as perfect a complement next to Lebron on offense I could possible imagine.  His shooting would stretch the defense past their breaking point, and his post game and passing are very underrated.

But why make this trade now?  You have the best trade offer on the table right now, and as long as the Warriors stupidly refuse to include Klay in their trade offers you will still have the best offer in January or February when the trade deadline is approaching.  Unless the Wolves are calling you up saying "Klay is on the table and unless you offer Wiggings we are trading Love today" I dont see why you dont see what you have with Lebron + the young guys

Are you a Cleveland fan?

If not, why would you care about them sucking defensively?

Are you dense? He's obviously speaking as if he was in their organization.

I tell you who I would rather trade- Kyrie.  I have no interest in sacrificing all my flexibility so I can pay an injury prone PG whose game has shown minimal improvement $18 million/ year.  Hes played 10 more regular season games over the past 3 seasons than Dwyane "I dont play back to backs" Wade, and thats not including his time at Duke.

Pull a 3 way trade where you give up Kyrie and get Love + one of the mid-tier PGs like Conley, Teague, Dragic, or Ellis (who make like $8 mil)

LeBron making the calls. I would trade Wiggins for love but wouldn't throw much else away, or Bennett and picks. Don't know how the finances will work though. End up with another Heat type problem with three horss and can't fill out the roster and improve.

I don't like the idea of Love in the East.

That said, Bennett seems to be exchangeable but Wiggins might come back and bite them.

He'll just go to Minnesota for 4 years to develop into a star, then he can go back to Cleveland & help a mid-30s LeBron.

    • I think in all honestly, the final 2 games are carrying most of the weight in a lot of Bryce talk IMO.    During the window where he "blew it out of the water" window......were a lot of games where he was not above average.  AZ is largely one of those stat sheet games.   Where the stat sheet reflects QB play that didn't exist in the game.  That game was all Chuba.  Meh vs Dallas.  Meh vs Philly.  Meh vs Giants.  Probably average vs Tampa, Den, Saints.  Bryce made HUGE strides vs what he was.  We should be happy.   But when you start comparing him to the rest of the league.....people I think are going too far.  His best aspect in reality.....is his scrambling.  And that's probably not a great thing give his size.
    • Mays and Zavala looked lost in the Reich offense.  Granted Zalava was probably playing too soon due to injuries but he looked terrible.  This new staff seems to be doing well with our OL.  I also wonder if having two vets in Hunt and Lewis just made life that much easier on whoever was/is playing center.
    • What the Panthers should target in order (via free agency or via trade): 1. Julian Blackmon  2. Mike Hilton 3. Jaire Alexander 4. Jalen Ramsey
